The fact the People loved miui due to its amazing features but slowly they are removing all the best features like You can't use gestures on 3rd party launchers anymore, KZbin background play is now disabled. I moved to Nothing Phone and loving the software.

One thing that isn't mentioned, which I feel is rather important is that hyperOS blocks the usage of some (or all, not sure) launchers, or restricts them at least so they can't run properly. As a user that grew accustomed to the niagara launcher, finding out it doesn't work properly on this UI was very disappointing and it's mentioned nowhere. I feel at least in videos like this it should be mentioned

Frankly speaking this HyperOS is not bad at all. I'm using it on my Xiaomi 14 and it's super smooth, bugs free. Just needs some organization in the settings as I'm for example finding screen timeout in lockscreen section, etc... Otherwise it's good.

Is there any launcher where the main home screen is 1 single page that scrolls down like reading the comments below right here on the browser? (So no new pages left or right ) Something where you can also make groups that are the full page width and 1/2/3/4+ rows down, then as you add to that group you can swipe within that group box across . (Same thing for grouping widges). Then you can make groups (e.g work study play) and new app icons chronologically keep getting added to the bottom of the page by default. Then just have an access gesture to view apps on a list by no./name..

Still waiting for HyperOS on my Redmi Note 10 Pro 😢😢 Edit: The Note 10 Pro won't be able to receive HyperOS updates, so as the other Note 10 Series. And till now I'm downloading the latest version of default system apps as well as downloading new HyperOS control center on MIUI 14 along with downloading new HyperOS icon pack on the themes app 🥲🥲

Most of the changes of HyperOS wouldn't be seen on a smartphone, but rather on the whole Xiaomi ecosystem : they are building a new foundation for a "tie them all" OS, just like Huawei are trying to do with Harmony OS (ex-LiteOS) or Samsung with Tizen.

Regardless of how much these Android brands do with the OS, it's still way less optimized than IOS. Want proof? The iPhone 6 and 7 has better and smoother animations than current low-end Android devices, which, btw, are now very powerful for the price you're getting them. Many low-end Android devices close to $200 sport a HelioG99 or equivalent SOCs, some sporting the "ULTRA" version, all of which scores well within the 400k range. Despite this, an iPhone 6 that scored well below the aforementioned phones still provides a better, more responsive UI experience; hence why the 6, 7, and XRs are still so popular these days. They perform great; they're responsive, smooth, and very seamless. Not an IOS user, btw. I use Android.

the latest android version found in the lower end androids (13 and 14) are much more demanding and heavier and have more functionality than the latest supported ios for the iphone 6 (ios 12 from 2018) a low end android will never be as smooth as a high end android or an iphone

You can't really do that on the F3 tho. It is present only on QHD screens and up and F3 is only FHD. Maybe in game turbo you can set render resolution to 720p

hyperos update drains my battery three times faster..i would charge once a day now at least 2-3 times a day...and has pretty much disabled the hypercharge feature of Xiaomi 11t pro rendering my phone useless.

I kindly ask you to help me in making the following choice between these phones: Poco X6 pro VS Redmi Note 13 pro PLUS VS Infinix GT 20 pro I am also opened to Poco F6 as a variant if it would be really worth it in my case. Use case: phone will be used for gaming mostly and minimal day to day basic use not much for photos and media consumption, battery and system stability are important. Something I can rely on for maximum graphics and performance in games like Codm for a period of 1 year. the number of years of future updates are not important.

I see that xiaomi still has removed the function of listing to podcasts with the screen turned off from the video toolbox the control centre has a music widget cant be changed for the music player you are using and only a few themes work on hyper os I've got the redmi note 10 pro and I'm glad I can still listen to a podcast with the screen off and all my themes work and hyper os only works on certain phones so no thanks my next phone is going to be the nothing phone 2A

Even after hyperos update for poco x4 pro mobile, work profile has enabled and teams notifications are also enabled in all the ways but for MS teams calls are not getting any notifications. Buggy miui, hyperos.😅😂
