Moto Z2 Force review: Worth the upgrade?

Been using this phone for over a month, love it! Battery life is surprisingly great, phone performance is fantastic, very fluid and smooth. I don't mind the lack of a headphone jack because I barely never used it before anyway, bought a tempered glass screen protector and case but have watched other videos and surprisingly this phone is actually a tank, shattershield while being a plastic screen it doesn't break and everything on the phone is metal even the buttons

I purchased this used for $100 with some few scratches on screen. I purchased 20 others top of the line newer ones 2 years after including the Z4 this month. This is my favorite to use of ALL TIME.

I have the Moto Z2 force and it is an awesome phone even though it has a small battery you wouldn't even think that the battery is that small because it lasts all day and then some for me anyway and if it don't work out for you the same all you have to do is buy the battery pack and it's so worth it

Doubleoh Spartan it's really not a bad device. I love the phone. Motorola just need to to knock the price down as it can't compete with the other flagship devices thats priced at $700 and up.

The screen does scratch pretty easy but most people prefer having a screen protector anyway but on a drop the screen is not supposed to break and Motorola covers it for 4 years

In sheer performance numbers, this phone does everything right. And that's where it stops. A headphone jack would have been ideal. A price cut, even more ideal. OnePlus 5 currently offers more for the dollar than ALL the flagships. But it comes down to preference.

Moto z2 force is great got one my self works like a charm this guy thinks it lacks at certain features but it doesn't the features it lacks keeps the battery life regular and when you purchase the mods each one has a battery of its own which enhances battery life. Shatter shield is good doesn't prevent scratches it prevents the glass from breaking if the phone falls just like turbo2 when they came out with the shatter shield... Worried about scratches then get the moto projector

Don't get me wrong I like Moto. Too many phone's and instead of concentrating on the phone's they have out with updates.They come out with too many phone's to confuse everyone.Slow down and work on the one's you already released.Just my opinion.Deb👍

Debra Dukes All the reviews are mentioning the screen getting scratched way too easy. Smaller battery and no headphone jack. This is a poor effort for a flagship phone. I like Motorola as a brand but they are going in the wrong direction with these Moto mods. In general people don't want add ons for a phone. LG tried it already and it didn't work for them either.

The audio adapter stopped working after only 1 week or so. Total crap. Will use the Philips bluetooth headphones i bought. Bluetooth is the way to go with this phone. I picked up my new Moto Z2 Force recently and had a lot of issues. Like the screen not responding to touches, i then need to turn off the screen and turn it back on to fix it. And sometimes neither i nor the person i talk to in calls can hear each other and sound and Mic sometimes just shuts off, just dead silence, a reboot usually fix this issue. I bought it new and still it comes with several issues. Not fun to get a lemon. I had to do a hard factory reset because of these issues but also because of another issue, the system stopped responding repeatedly. And lastly when i open the camera app it shows an error saying one of the rear cameras isn't working. Thanks Lenovo for ruining me with a phone with a ton of seriously annoying issues. After a hard reset it now works much better. Now this supercrappy phone has even more issues,like wifi all of a sudden has non functional issues every now and then. Never again a Moto phone for me.

Amazing deal! 835 processor, quad HD screen, microSD support, solid build, Moto mod capability which I highly recommend the thin profile battery mod and JBL Sound boost 2 and the best user interface.... Shattershield too but I would get tempered glass protector. Solves the scratch problem.

I have up on headphones long before Bluetooth technology, the cords are too short and I end up pulling the ear buds out of my ear. I'll stick with Bluetooth for now on. I'm not sorry if you paid $200 for headphones!!!

The most compelling reason to get this phone is because of the moto mods. But the moto mods don't even fit this phone right! Smh. I can hardly believe they didn't make a seamless interface with the mods. The edges of my mods are all cracked and chipped now. I wish I had kept my OG moto z force.

It's an updated version of the Moto Z, not the Moto Z Force. They should've called it the Moto Z2. if they did that then people would compare it with the first gen Moto Z and not the Z Force.
