Get yourself a set of bamf tire inserts for those trenchers. Its wild how well they work.

It’s moved on some since this video. Now running jconcepts ruptures on proline dual stage foams. Performs very well. Will look out for the bamf inserts though as the trenchers are now on my Ecto. Thanks for watching! 🤙

Next weeks iam building a LCG on TRX Sport Parts ( Axles, Gearbox, Links, Shocks etc. ). But here in good old Germany there are only a few Shops where you can get this parts from Gspeed and so on. I hope i will find all he parts next time.

Hi Phil, nice rig and good videos on upgrades. I'm working on on the same, element enduro sendero rtr into a lcg with gspeed and ftx Texan body but I'm using the lay down servo mount. 👌👍

Nice. Good luck with the (re)build. Can be tricky to set up with a lay down servo from what I've seen, but awesome when you get it right, and you can tuck the body right down as well. 😎🤙

They r rearly good I use them as well in couple my trucks a lot of the time high clearance links r that good u have to keep in mind the angle off the drive shaft as well the links protect them a bit m8

The drive shaft is very close to being exposed on this rig now, but is just tucked in enough, I think. 😁🤙

@@PhilBrindley if u look on most trucks the links r normally level with the skid plate or a slight angle ur next 1 u should try it with portal axles n 2.2 wheels ur get quite bit clearance or scx10ii axle kit there good couse they have the small pumpkin on them m8

@@PhilBrindley great thank you mine is the slide over the foam wheel and falls off lol Back to the element I notice you went with the hh sport 1850kv I went builders route becouse I have a reedy radon 14t 550 and a 20t 550 laid about the 14t is 1600kv and the 20t is 1100kv I do have a range of pinions and will run 3s how did you find the power speed ect of the hh am eching to test the 20t motor but maybe to slow 🐌 thej again can you go to slow on the rocks lol Thanks for any advice

@@PhilBrindley sory to be a pain one last question was thinking of picking up a full set of ss bolts cap head or dome are they all m3 found a 300 peice m3 kit on amazone 6mm to 20mm could wait till kit arrives and check but want to get things orderd lol

@@tdrcadventures8808 for me it was a bit of pot luck really, and some sound advice from the GSpeed Facebook group. I'd had a HH motor in a previous rig and it had been reliable so I went with another. The group advised to gear as low as possible and the lowest 48p I could find was a 13t. So that's what I got. Turned out pretty much spot on for me. Maybe a little slow top end but great crawling speed. 🤙

@@tdrcadventures8808 not everything in the builder kit is m3 and it's mix of button and socket head, but pretty much all of the chassis is M3. There's a link in the description ☝️ to the set I use on Amazon, very handy to have as you'll probably need some options that the kit doesn't provide but I basically ended up using a mix of the kit ones and SS ones. Also, depending on the skid you use you'll need some longer counter sunk screws to mount the trans. Think I ended up using all 14mm m3 for that, need to be careful not to go too long else they'll push in to the trans and mash your gears. 🤙

Hi, I just buy the element rc enduro trail truck kit 2. you think a add a weight on rims?

Hi, you can add weight to the wheels, I have done on all of my rigs, but that is not the best way really. Better to get the brass steering knuckles and/or c-hubs so you are adding the weight to the axles instead. Start with just the front axle and see how you get on. I would say though that you should spend some time driving it first, as you may be very happy with the way it performs without adding weight. Happy trails! 🤙
