IMHO you are the only man I've heard speak on the SD original trigger and I've seen the old triggers would be part of the problem with performance inconsistency in particular jamming or misfire

This was a great video. but in my opinion, if I'm deciding between the Gen one or 2.0. I'm definitely gonna get the 2.0. because one of the main things people complain about was the hinge trigger on the Gen one. 2.0 trigger trash or not I would still get it

I owned both the SD9VE and the new SD9 2.0 I promise you, the trigger upgrade with the 2.0 is worth it. Instead of buying the old version and then getting the Apex trigger, just get this one. I can’t speak for the new SD40 2.0, but the new SD9 2.0 trigger and accuracy is amazing. I really like mine and compared to the older versions, which I owned both the 9 and 40 VE versions.. the old triggers are terrible and the pull was too. Happy shooting, regardless!

imo the best budget .40 is a M&P .40 2.0, I got mine for $230 as an LEO trade in, no blemishes, holster wear, or seatbelt rash, just a mark on the frame. came with a case, 3 mags, lock, and it didn’t mention it in the description but it came with all the extra backstraps.

Yeah these are known for their shtty triggers.. But they're also know for running like a Glock and eating anything you feed it. Just throw an Apex trigger kit on it and they're good to go. It reduces the pull weight by about 2lb and reduces travel by about 50%. These get a bad rep but I love mine. Super accurate and reliable

I bet my SDVE 9mm is better then the 9mm or 40cal SD 2.0 with a Apex Trigger I installed in it. Anyway many videos on KZbin showing SD 2.0 has Trigger problems. All S&W had to do is to put a Apex Trigger in the SDVE 9mm or 40cal and call the it SDVE 2.0. S&W's Quality Control not looking good lately. Problems with the new Bodyguard and the SD 2.0.

Stoeger has their STR line in 40 for around $250 with a much better trigger and just as reliable.

What are your thoughts on the Taurus g3c in 40 s&w? It's about 20 dollars less and comes with 3 mags. I know it's also compatible with aftermarket Glock sights as well. I'm torn between this Smith and Wesson and the g3c both in 40 s&w.
