Update! I tried ptfe over the lint spots and it does feel slightly rougher glide wise vs spots without it.

I got this mouse pad and i would definitely say it's the best i had so far, i don't only game but i also do graphics, and it's nice that the mouse pad is very soft. Many of these control pads have issues with getting dirty easily and being harder to clean, so? This one you can try to use strong lint roller or just spray it with water. None of the pads i used so far had this kind of feeling of speed and control at the same time (and also being soft, since once i compared them to other pads i noticed that there's a big comfort difference when i move the arm on the mouse pad, it's much better for the skin), and since i like black pads, many of the standard cloth pads just become ugly for some reason(they will be like a cloud of dark colors, but in some you can clearly see that it's either dirty or there's something else going on), not sure why exactly, but this one even if i don't wash it the color is still great. The edges are still in good condition, almost like if it's new.

cool video. before i buy this, do u think this is faster than lgg jupiter? im using tiger arc 1 skates with xm1r
@Slyve Жыл бұрын
Don’t have the parabrake anymore since moving so I couldn’t tell you exactly but wasn’t really a fan of this pad when I had it. I’d rather just use a GSR or Jupiter and try smaller mouse skates if you need more speed
@bergdk2372 жыл бұрын
I know this is an older video, but what are the difference from the v2 & the original? Also would you say the v2 has the same muddy feel, or has a little less of that to a gsr???
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
The only difference is where the branding is located. On the V1 it's a sticker type thing on the back you can feel through the pad. But you are able to peel it off so it's not a big deal. It's less muddy than the GSR.

Bro i want to similar mousepad to qck heavy (not qck +) cuz qck affected humidity so fast i try zero soft but its feel faster for me can u suggest to me any mousepad to similar qck heavy and not affected humidity so fast sorry for bad english
@Slyve Жыл бұрын
None that I know still produced. Usually need to give up surface feel or change speed to improve humidity resistance. Artisan Zero does slow down with use like Qck so you could try to suffer through it. Or change mice feet. Spyre Kamek if there’s any left in stock is worth a try. It’s like a slower artisan zero which has more similar speed to qck

@@Slyve i cant buy spyre kamek another option ? how is pulsar parabreak v2 is similar to qck heavy and its affected humidity so fast or not ?
@Slyve Жыл бұрын
@@berkayyorulmaz4146 it’s only similar speed-wise. It’s still affected by humidity and I wouldn’t recommend buying. If you just want humidity resistance and similar speed look into X-ray pads aqua control zero. It’ll feel different on your skin but will hold up better against humidity

How is Parabrake compared to Saturn pro in terms of speed and stopping power?
@Slyve8 ай бұрын
It's going to be slower with more stopping power and the base will be much more firm. Can't really give you specifics as I don't own a Saturn unfortunately.

Hey hey! great review, dont think alot has touched on the details of this pad. how about a direct comparison from this to the artisan zero? I dont have alot of options here for a control or slow pads, so im looking for some information
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
So the parabrake is like a notch slower but that's all it has going for it compared to the Zero. Personally I'd probably still choose the Zero just because the Parabrake surface declines feelwise over time. If you want something very slow I'd go with a Esports Tiger Qinsui 2 Pro or Xray Pad Equate. If you want something with noticeable speed increase Artisan Zero, Xray pad Equate plus(4mm) or Esports Tiger Qinsui 2(Not Pro Version). These should be available with worldwide shipping. If you want to stick with pulsar just because you're already ordering a mouse or something I'd probably get the Paracontrol even though it will be a speed increase.
@illudami60322 жыл бұрын
@@Slyve I see. I do have irks with mousepads wearing down quickly. I recently reused my old GSR, its been nice but im looking for something slightly faster Unfortunately here we use resellers or online retail stores. because shipping is typically longer and more expensive most of the time. The parabreak is going for 25$ and the qinsui is the same price. I could pre order a XSOFT artisan for 75$ US. long term beneficially I think the artisan would be a nicer choice.
@illudami60322 жыл бұрын
@@Slyve Thank you for the detailed extra advice. you mentioned the lint issue. but some other videos have also shown me that the zero catches dust and lint all the same. I guess ill just have to wait in anticipation for that zero review!
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
@@illudami6032 The zero is different in that what it collects doesn't affect glide or feel and you can remove it. But yeah the qinsui 2 is still pretty nice glide and feel wise while still being slightly faster than a gsr. I probably won't review the zero just because there's so many videos out there about it. Mostly for comparisons for myself lol

according to pulsar they said it's water resistant and do good against moisture, at what point do you find out it's affected by moisture?
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
Pretty much notice the change of speed from temperature in my room. Don’t usually have issues with humidity in my room. But when I first start a session compared to the end there’s a speed difference. If you’re looking for humidity resistance I’d look into the xray pad equate as I had no such problems and the surface held up much better after a month

Parabrake or paracontrol v2 better?
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
Personally the Parabrake started to change within a month of decent use so I'd say the Paracontrol is the better pad although it is faster.

They plan on releasing some new versions next month so possibly then if pulsar sends one out for review. However I do have an AC+, Equate +, and Equate that I bought from xraypads on the way. The ac+ or equate + should definitely be pretty similar

How to clean this mousepad?

I used room temp water with small amount of soap. Rub in with fingers and then rinse out. Dry out of direct sunlight. For a quicker/lighter clean you can use lysol disinfectant spray and a microfiber though
