People don't mind paying thousands for Tickets and paying Rs.350 for pop corn, but they make a huge issue if 6% increased that too on caramel coated popcorn which anyway is not consumed by common man. Is there any solution to this taxation system? Middle class common people are being ripped apart each and every second; left, right, and center. No one can afford buying a home now!! Right from the basic needs like groceries, food, milk, salaries, vehicles, education, medical needs, fuel, to import tax and what not. Do we get the quality of services in return? Do you even know the state of rural India? Food inflation is at 11%, in the last one year vegetable prices have sky rocketed by 46%, LTCG is at 12.5%, credit growth is below 13%, etc FMCG consumption is all time low as there is no spending capacity with common man after paying EMI's. Ask the automakers why their cars aren't selling much now with huge inventory at dealers. We are buying crude oil from Russia and selling it to Europe for huge profit, but what about the fuel prices within the country? Unemployment is evident everywhere, while some leader comes and urges employees to work 70-100 hrs/ week for the nation's growth, so that they can buy flats/ houses worth 50 - 250 crores and enjoy. Indian GST percentage is the highest in the world, why no one is speaking about it loudly. Why have people elected the government in the first place when they cannot be the voice of common man and resolve the issues?
