I had so much fun with you J.P. I can't express. Glad to see the love for the new Bedell. We have a poutine date to plan...

Missed ya JP! All great news!! I been watching Acoustic Shoppe on KZbin a long time. Visited there once before the pandemic. Awesome store, very knowledgeable staff. Sticker shock was an issue for me. I felt a lil' out of place, like shopping for '76 Chevette at a New Ferrari dealer. Lol!

Beautiful wood selection on the back, has great projection, wouldn’t think a Parlor sized guitar could sound like that one, very fortunate to live in a time where there’s so many excellent choices with acoustic guitars,, beautiful playing J.P. 👍

My main axe is a Bedel Coffee House Parlor. For the past 4 years I've just played it constantly; love it! and my guitar came with a K&K Mini Western from the factory! And I run it into a battery powered Fishman.

Amazing guitar. The tone is as chewy as French bread. It’s the red cedar I think. The bass is thumping like a drunk kicking up a ruckus on a bar floor and the trebles are precious bells off the walls of an old church steeple and the mids are rich as brewed molasses. One of the best guitars yet to be played so magisterially by JP.

They are amazing guitars, I have one of their Om models. I was able to work with them as they built it. Cocobolo and Adirondack Spruce. An amazing sounding, playing, and beautiful guitar. It’s hard for me to put it down. I also love their environmental policy. It was worth the wait for them to finish it, and the price paid. A great review, thanks.

I played that very guitar in the acoustic shoppe! Bought a Furch that day. That guitar is the best parlor I have ever played. It is beyond phenomenal.

Western Red Cedar can be fantastic. That it lacks flatpicking headroom, might be a myth! Great guitar and playing!

It is not really a "Fireside" - those Bedell's are slightly deeper body, and usually cost a bit more. The one you have is the one I have been drooling over for months. When I heard you had purchased one after your visit to Springfield, I have been waiting for a review from you. I don't think I can resist anymore - $5000 isn't really that much money anymore, anyway. At least, I keep telling myself that.

Kinda reminds me of my Martin 0-18. Nobody told it that wasn’t a dreadnaught. I call it the “Chihuahua” because it talks a lot of smack towards a D-18 for half the body mass.

I have a couple Bedell chinese made ones....they stopped using chinese makers about 15 years ago.....those guitars have been extremely loud and vintage sounding....opened up at about 12 years old....I use one for open tunings....it's amazing. He must have busted their butts keeping the chinese in line when he was using them....I'm guessing he got tired of dealing with them and pulled everything out of china....but those guitars are amazing for cheapo's. Solid sitka top....mahogony laminate....that laminate must be high grade made.

Just saw your members only content video for the low base price of 3.994 per month. Recently started watching your channel and found the guitar reviews interesting and informative as well as enjoying your playing. After realizing I cannot enjoy your content with out paying a fee, I have come to the conclusion that you are in this KZbin world to make a buck and act as a schill for various guitar manufacturers. I cannot support a guy who makes believe he is only in this for the love of music and guitars, so sadly I must say, adios ! I personally don't even think you deserve a "good luck".

Hi Michael. You're mistaken about this. There is no charge to watch my channel. There's a small charge for people who want to be members so they can see the little bit I do for them on the side. It's basically people really like what we do and want to throw a few bucks into the tip jar. 100% of my main content is free. Hope to see you back.
