All depends on who rents the ramp. So If your parked at T2 it will be Aer Lingus. If your at T5 in Heathrow it will be BA. Some ground crews are by thrid party companies like Servisair, and so on.

I use My Traffic X Professional. There is one add-on Called FSPasengers which simulates a cabin full of passengers, with sounds ,you cant see the Passengers but they react to your actions such as your landings. It also simulates emergency procedures too . You can manage your own airline with this add on and set prices for tickets, food and anciliarys. I don't use it as its a bit old and I use a separate program for cabin announcement and a co-pilot.

You can assign a keyboard shortcut to show the GSX menu. Its very like the FSX ATC Menu where you can click on what service you want.The reason why you cant see it is because its on my second monitor. There will be a list of all of the ground services available then you just simply click on them ,then they will initiate. Not all services can be run simultaneously though. eg. no Refueling while boarding passengers

I am using Eiresim's 2009 version of Dublin. It has the new T2. But the scenery is still in need of improvement. Eiresim are working on a new version of EIDW to suit today's expected standard of detail like Aerosoft, UK2000 and Orbx offer to its customers.

What do you think ? Of course its not free. But if you want to try it out first there is a demo where you can try all of the features are three airports. The full version is around 35 euros but it works with every aircraft in every airport in the world both default and payware. So its fantastic value. Aerosoft charge around 2-4 euros per airport through their program . GSX works out at around 0.0001 of a cent per airport ! So you can see the difference.

You can press the "Attend" button in the flightdeck and you can ask the cabin crew for Coffee, Sandwiches etc. And they will knock on the door and bring it up to you. You can only hear the in flight service you can actually see it. Sure you should be flying the plane anyway.

GSX also offers a ' Follow me' car. So you can just pick a gate and he will lead you to the Ramp. Then there will be a marshaller to lead you in. Then just just press Control + F12 and the options will appear for the ground services. You can see all this in use in my ' Ryanair Krakow Balice Landing ' . Check it out.

Right. I actually use FSPax, but I mean an add to where you can actually watch and see passengers boarding, seated, and deboarding. FSPax is a good program though!

Good question actually. Haven't tested it. But what I do know is this program runs on AFCAF Files. That's how everything in it works. So if your carrier has an AFCAD file it should work. Its mainly for use with commercial aircraft so you wouldnt actually see this stuff on a carrier in real life.

On the majority of all 737 NG's there is a stowaway motorised stairway in the fuselage than can be extended and retracted from the flight deck. This would save a huge amount of money throughout the a/c's life. I doubt if there is one for the AFT exit though hence why they need an external stairway from the ground crew.

Yes of Course you need a copy of FSX. The Dublin Scenery is also an ad-don software by Eire Sim. The sky and Weather is done by Real Environment Extreme, and the aircraft is done by PMDG. The ground crew by FSDREAMTEAM. FSX has become a different simulator altogether now with thousands of various add on's. Most of them well more expensive than the base pack itself. This Aircraft alone cost me 60 euros.

This add on "GSX" is an add on for FSX. It does not require any " Pack " as you say which I don't understand. And believe me the installation for most Paid FSX Add on's is very simple. You just download it and Install it. It installs itself. Some other add on's and scenery's needed to be added manually but it is still simple.

Im not sure but FSDREAMTEAM said it would be hard to model and would properly have an impact on Frames. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to simulate since they just disappear when they enter the aircraft. I guess its a possibility in the future

Im not a support agent for REX, But try make sure you have correctly located your " FSX Root Folder " within the REX User menu otherwise the new REX textures will not load into FSX.

This isnt AES by Aerosoft it's GSX. All the liveries in this video are pre-developed by FSDREAMTEAM. The livery you get depends on which airline is assigned to the gate number in the AFCAD file of the airport.

You cant drive the vehicles by GSX such as the catering Trucks , Fuel Bowser or Passenger Bus. But you can go inside them. If your interested in driving airport vehicles. Just give simviation a visit and look for some airport vehicles. You can drive them anywhere you want.

I know its actually possible to model this. Orbx have a neat feature in their products called " People Flow " and it accurately models peoples movements, actions and dimensions precisely. With little or no effect on frame rates. Check it out on youtube if you havent seen it yet. Just type in " Orbx People Flow "

As I said before , FSX mainly strives for raw processing power. Not RAM, not video card memory,just raw CPU power. Although having more than 4 G's of Ram and a decent Graphics Cards helps. Without a decent Quad Core CPU don't expect much from FSX. Also "Ultra High Graphics " is irrelevant if you don't have any third party add ons such as REX , UTX , GEX or airport scenery. If your 32 Bit i'd stay on FS9. Otherwise for FSX consider building yourself a custom rig.

It sure does, The Livery you get depends on which gate you are parked at. Not by the livery your aircraft has. So for example if you park at Pier D at EIDW, It will be Ryanair. Park at Terminal 2 and it will be Aer Lingus. So far I keep encountering more and more ground livery's all around Europe. There is hundreds of them. GSX is way more advanced that Aerosofts AES.

Because everything in the video is developed by dedicated third party developers. The aircraft is done by PMDG. The airport by Eiresim, The AI traffic by Aerosoft, The Weather by Real Environment Extreme , The ground services by FSDREAMTEAM, The cabin interactions by FS2CREW. The camera by Ezdok And they are just a few of the add ons that you can see. I even have more add ons for flight dynamics and hardware etc.

The aircraft is an add on itself Modeled by PMDG. The textures are in HD. Thats why it looks so real. The add on for the Crew Interactions is called FS2CREW. Specially designed for the PMDG NGX. It gives you a real Co-Pilot , ground crew & Cabin Crew and you are the captain. You can also use this add on through voice control by telling the crew what to do through a mic. Im going to be getting a decent headset soon. So I'll be doing a video on it. Stay tuned.

I often wondered this myself. Its possible though with the "Orbx people flow" technology. ( KZbin it to see what it does ). But FSX is old software 6 years old now. Using Direct X 9 so all of these little things add up to diminish your average frame rate. Thats proberly the main reason FSDREAM decided not to model them. But I did hear rumors that passengers are in their portfolio for maybe a future GSX Service Pack or New GSX pack all together .

When you started the engines, you did it incorrectly. you are supposed to wait until 25% N2 until moving the engine start levers to IDLE.

As an experienced simmer who uses hundreds of add-ons I dont believe it would impact frames drastically on Sandybridge platforms. If you have a look at Orbx's people flow technology, it would be possible to model the embarkment of passengers with GSX. They should at least model it and have it as an option for simmers with top systems to use and for those who cant run afford to lose frames let them turn it off.

In my case, I didn't loose any frames. It would be hard for the program me to cause frame losses as there isn't that much to process in terms of CPU power. But if you are getting poor FPS on minimum graphics, I don't see the point in buying the programme if you are already suffering from Bad FPS without any add ons.

1 - Payware PMDG NGX . 2 - I have a 2500 euro custom built rig specifically for FSX. 3 - If your HP Eny with Operating speed of 3.8 GHz (up to 4.1 GHz turbo). Turbo boost the processor to 4.1 and upgrade your graphics card. You should be able to get around the same graphical settings and performance with this video. Thanks for watching .

Ya know your actually right... They dont sub-contract catering. They just fill their trolleys with their own tiny portions of food. Its been reported recently that if the Captain leaves the Battery switch on in Ryanair he will be fined 5000 euros. Because it costs 20,0000 to re-charge it.

Thanks for the comment. The video could of been better though. It was one of my first videos anyway. Most of the things you see in the video are a combination of add ons. Such as the weather, scenery, aircraft etc. The crew interactions are actually done by FS2CREW. Add ons are expensive. Most expensive one being the aircraft costing 70 euro. GSX costs around 40 euro . If your considering getting a similar set up you should consider building your own PC its the only way to satisfy FSX.
