Holy crap... And people call me a nerd for having 3x 46" displays on my gaming system. This is just beyond real! How much did this setup cost to build and how long did it take you?
@Pianolaboy13 жыл бұрын
Pretty impressive !!! Talk about "as real as it gets" I think I want one !!
@skeabrae13 жыл бұрын
Brilliant..! As an Ex Airline Pilot and Flight Simmer since 1990's this is a dream cockpit. I have built several (very basic ones). Even asked my former wife (an Ex Hostess) to bring me coffee in her uniform - unfortunately that did not go down too well..! Never mind keep up the good work..!
@Offskew13 жыл бұрын
That is the most outstanding home setup I have seen to date..how you integrated everything is mind boggling..you are either an electronics wiz or you work in avionics..if not then you just have a great eye for fabrication

You are the undisputed Champion of home Sim designers - even when mine was finished it still looked like what was left after a bad crash.

Probably the BEST home simulator I have ever seen!
@jetcat12013 жыл бұрын
A really nice set up you have there and some stunning flying as well. It must be great to have this set up in your home, much better than a single monitor and a joystick.
@Dracollin113 жыл бұрын
Just remember... Only full flaps on a Short Field Landing and reverse thrust is off at 70kts not 60kts. Other then that, great landing, great video and awesome home built cockpit :-)
@Wavestasi13 жыл бұрын
@lifewithconor It's called a trim wheel and it is used for manually trimming the stabilizer. It allows the pilot to set the aircraft to the desired altitude without having to move the control stick.
@fox111qc13 жыл бұрын
I'm impressed by your cockpit. Nice landing too. I wish I had the room and money to build something like this!

@sfiniraq I agree lol... but it shouldn't stop your passion maan ... your passion inspires people who want to follow their passions as well.. but that is bad ass cockpit !!
@ArjenJongeling13 жыл бұрын
Nice setup. I see you have the same problem as I, when you disengage A/T and A/P, the switches on the MCP don't actually flick back. @ 5:53 you're doing it manually. I'm thinking of solenoid switches and convert my MCP.
@epicdred13 жыл бұрын
that would be cool, but at the same time your stuck flying the same plane. I would love to see a DIY bush pilot cockpit, would probably be simpler to make and more affordable. I like how your trim and pitch wheels move and controls move while the autopilot is engaged. Did you build this yourself?

Hi can I know which sounds do you use for your 737? Arianne or Synchro soft or other sounds? Thks Giosuè congratulations for the cockpit ;-))
@HybOj13 жыл бұрын
fantastic and impossible!! I think people who built such cockpits were captains in their previous life and their last flight went wrong, now they feel they wanna fly but also feel it would be safer to do it at home :))
