How do you rotate the jetway? on the editor it says numpad 1,3,5 but when i select those it seems to be preassigned for something else.

hold down space and press the mouse scrole wheel until you get the direction you want.

Does that also work at Sceneries where you can´t move the Jetways? For example: In Aerosoft Addons you can only use jetways with AES, so does it work now too?

Only if the jetways are a seperate object. Aerosoft sceneries will work. Funny enough, FSDT static jetways WILL NOT.

You can do bulk selections and transform an airport in minutes. It does work. I converted an entire airport in minutes.

The feature of selecting all gates and just doing all the work on one gate and it will just multiply it to all gates precisely is not really working (Aerosoft, flytampa etc) . not a single gate actually fits where it should in the airport, which means you are going to have to do all the work for every gate in the airport

so i am not getting what a is using ... i am trying to do the same thing for microsoft flight simulator and the editor are the same but i do not have the GSX Level 2 control panel. so i am not able to change any of my jetways i don't see that option any ware in the editor.

Feels like the aircraft should be 10% or 20% larger to be realistic, at least if you compare it to everything around it; the guy in the baggage train looks as big as the door on the plane. The jetway even has to extend downwards, which looked a little weird.

We haven't modeled the airplane, it's the default A321 from FSX. The things we have modeled, which are GSX vehicles and humans, are absolutely perfect 1:1 scale. And yes, it's a known issue that some default airplanes in the sim have their cargo doors dimensions wrong, especially the default 747, since the proper ULD model for a 747 ( AKC, AKE ), which in GSX is obviously modeled 1:1, doesn't fit the door. Hardly our fault, and it would be wrong for us to model objects in the wrong scale, just to fit default airplanes that might not be correct. When the airplane is modeled correctly, everything fits.

I am suffering the same irritating issue with the default jetways not disappearing after compiling files using the control panel for GSX, I have followed the tutorial video plenty of times but nothing changes in the sim (P3D V3.4). The Jetway animations work great and precisely. I hope FSDT has a patch for this issue soon.

may have found a solution, i was sorting the jetways for RSFB venice, couldnt get jetways to dissapear, all i did ws, went into the scenery folder for venice and deleted the jetway.BGL files which removed the original jetways, turns out some of the sceneries have heir jetways fixed to the terminal rather than separate

I noticed the same thing default jetway dont disappear at munich or Newcastle. I try amsterdam like the video and it works fine. Some airport it is easy other not.

I haven't purchased level 2 yet, but I've seen this comment on the FSDreamTeam forum here: www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,18372.0.html "This has been asked so many times on the forum and, of course, is explained in the manual. EVERY setting you change on the airport customization page can be applied to a single parking stand, to several of them, to an entire terminal, or even to the whole airport in one click, depending how many gates you selected on the left side of the screen. So no, you don't have to do for every single stand, it really depends how much precision you want. There are airports that have different jetway models on each parking. You CAN do that, but you don't HAVE to. Yes, of course you must do it for every airport, and you must explicitly tell GSX to do that. Yep. This goes against everything Umberto said in pre release hype. NO ONE has time to edit an entire airports worth of jetways. Especially if it's a default airport you may never fly to again. That time would be better spent actually developing an airport. I am extremely disappointed

Yes you do. You have to customize the locations of the jetways in most cases.

Speedbird, you're sorely mistaken. 1.) Yes, you can customize more than one at a time (I'm doing that as I type this comment) 2.) They're working on Pittsburgh, EuroAirport Basel, KORDv2, with a KJFK and KLAX remake coming. What more do you want? They're making new sceneries, updating old ones, and making the simulator better overall. Nonetheless, I expect more from someone of your caliber

Only at the Demo airports, or on any FSDT airports, in which the full GSX works with no registration required.

I have two questions the first, I already have the GSX for P3DV4 with License, can I install the new version of the GSX Level 2 with the same License that I already have, or do I have to buy a new one for the new version? The other question I have to have the 2 GSX installed or only the new version in the P3DV4? Comment: Because I already installed the GSX Level 2 on the one I already had and I do not see any changes. On the other hand the FSDT GSX Control Panel marks me ERROR

GSX level 2 is an expansion to the original GSX. You would need to have 2 licenses, one for the original GSX, and one for the expansion. You also need to have the 2 installed and activated separately using the “Addon Manager” found in the “Addons” tab when you press ALT in the sim.

Big problems with Flightbeams KPHX. cant get rid of old jetways and replace with new ones. It appears this should have been left up to the developers of their respective sceneries to update their Jetways and not the end user. This is going to be a huge mess.

Flightbeam - Denver. Doesn't work. I have excluded the jetway at all gates and the original does not disappear. This program is not user friendly AT ALL. Should've made it an install and go type deal. Nobody wants to spend hours trying to get a program to work who's only real advantage is the better pushback.

As explained on the manual, and on our forum, not all jetways can be excluded. In order for any object to be excluded, it must be modeled as a separated object, this is true for each and every kind of exclude, so it's not an issue specific to GSX, if the original scenery modeled the jetways as part of the terminal mesh, there's no way to exclude them, unless acting on the original scenery files. There's a post on our forum which explains how to do this, using the freeware ModelConverterX, but of course, it cannot be something we can do in the software, because it would require modifying 3rd party scenery files, so it's risky both from a technical and a legal point of view.
