Very interesting approach to coloring the cowls. I was trying to figure out how to mimic the blue tone of the bike in real life. Upon watching other channels, I found it weird that they only used metallic blue resulting in a lighter tone which does not match the decals'. I'll be working on this kit soon. I hope your approach works for me.

Thank you for your comment. I think the most important thing about this kit is to match the color with the decals. I hope it will be a good metallic blue!

@@okapura8By the way what thinning ratio did you use for the metallic Tamiya LP paint? I've just got my LP 41 & 45. They're both metallic so I'm guessing 1:2 with Mr. Rapid thinner?

@@genosootaku8649 The paint was applied at a dilution ratio of 1:2. It is recommended to paint while comparing with the decal as the color tends to change even with the number of coats.

@@okapura8I'll probably order pattern masks from ZoomOn, ZD153 to ensure consistency then. I have got all the info needed, will hit you back when I finish the model. Thank you!

I was watching another video of this same kit, the builder attached the cowl and fairings to the frame to line up the suzuki decal

That's a good way! Thank you for your valuable comments! I will use it as a reference in the future.
how in the hell that tank part not melt or crack when being soaked with Mr Hobby thinner? How about using proper paint remover or 99% isopropyl alcohol? someone might do the same as you and will end up with damaged parts

Thank you for your comment! If you use thinner from other products, the parts will be damaged, but Creos's Mr. color thinner (usually) used in the video has a weak solvent component, It is a product that is also commonly used for paint peeling. As introduced in the video, it is necessary to limit the soaking time to around 10 minutes, There was no damage to the parts.
