Thanks. Picked up my ‘13 750 from its 18k servicing and it was idling hunting, hard shifting and no error codes. Took it to the dealership and they’re trying to rope me into another valve check and injector replacement. I asked for a TPS check they said it definitely couldn’t be that. So I checked the TPS myself and that’s exactly what the issue is. The line won’t centre and it will jump to high or low position, regardless of where the physical position of the sensor is. $1400 is parts and labor just to end up diagnosing the issue myself with a KZbin video, T-25 and a paper clip. I’m a little salty. 😂

hey I really appreciate your videos. i have a 01 gsxr 1000. i have done everything myself. it has been a long road. my wife has recently been admitted to the hospital. she may never walk again, but none of that matters. really want to stretch mine among other things . so pleases any advise or help would be greatly appreciated

I'm sorry to hear that about your wife. If your wanting to stretch your bike I would recommend getting an actual swingarm not swingarm links. If you chose to get the swingarm I would also recommend going with Evil swingarms. They have good quality, great customer service, and good pricing.

Yeah my tps is playing up on mine I cant get the minus to go centre, and my stva error code dont come up but when I prime it the valves close open then close again but the box makes a stuttering noise

Done mine a couple of times now. I find when a **** pulls out / walks out on me and I grab clutch and rummmmmmmm to the red line, I find within days I'm back resetting tps =/

I have a 2003 GSXR 600 Just pick it up and my TPS sensor seems bad. When in dealer mode the line is all the way up. I ajusted it back to the middle and tightened it up by started bike and it went back to being all the way up. Bikes have hesitation problems under load and when reving in neutral. If you could help me out with a TPS it would mean the world. Just let me know how much. Also I'd you have any other suggestions on how to get my buck to run the way it should I would really appreciate it my friend! Love your videos very helpful.

So i did the fuel pump and new throttle body but im still bogging at 8 rpms its like the bike is in limp mode f1 code says c29 i replaced tge stva and still got the same problem with a new motor 2014 gsxr 1000

Hey man i hope you see this comment I know this is an old video but my 2002 gsxr 1000 is driving me CRAZY!!!! It won’t even start if the TPS is plugged in, when I unplug it it’ll start but bogs down if I give it more than 20% throttle. You think it’s a bad TPS? Also, most of the time when I flip the red switch to prime the fuel pump, it doesn’t prime and I just hear the secondary butterfly valves clicking (trying to open/close) so I’ll have to keep turning the switch on and off, turn the key on and off, until I hear the pump prime, then it’ll start.. Ive been battling this bike for YEARS PLEASE HELP!!!! 😫😫

I have a 03 750. Keeps shutting off riding down the road. I have the _C00 my line is on the bottom how do I fix that. Also I recently installed a manual cam chain tensioner would that have anything to do with it ?

If its shutting off I would check for loose grounds and or wires shorting out.

@@DRKKNTRACING thanks I think it ended up being the kick stand plunger I fixed it and it hasn’t done it again. But I’ve also installed a new manual cam chain tensioner. The old one had the oil line running to it that I eliminated. I feel like its making a weird noise This is my first bike I am kinda new. Im not sure if what I’m hearing is normal.

After you get it center Wich way is the line supposed to go while it's running wen I pull throttle it goes top wen let go of throttle it goes center then down and back to center

I would definitely start by adjusting it. If you still have your secondary butterflies in you may pull them out and see if it makes ot better.

Check your fuel pump. The best thing to do would be to data log your AFR so you can get some sort of an idea. Right now its just a guessing game. Ive had tps sensors go bad before but usually it'll run pig rich and shoot flames out of the exhaust.

I got a green ADJ light flashing on my dashboard of my 03 GSXR 750 is that the Flash telling me I need to set my shift light or something this is my first GSXR I've ever owned I've just purchased it and trying to go through it before I put it on the road. Also it needs a clutch adjusted and I didn't know if that can be done from the side of the engine case like some can be. This one has that rubber plug but I'm not sure how to do it exactly

@@DRKKNTRACING I believe it's the top left side all the way to the top under the word a d j or abbreviated adjustment word. Also on the 03 model adjusting the clutch not from the leather but down by the motor actually there's a rubber cap can I adjust that without taking the cover all off. N just removing that rubber cap? Has a lock nute and threaded bolt or rod with a flat head screw driver style tool mark head on it. To turn it in and out. But some say i have to tqke the entire cover off. The whole metal cover to get behind it i think the sprocket cover maybe they said. The guy before me didnt know anything about it either n they cable is all adjusted way out .almost all the way at the lever. But looks like the rest is all un adjusted. And can be if possible .

Yea I replied on the other post. Yea just pop the cap off, put a Philips screw driver on the bolt and the nut is a 10mm. Hold the stud and break loose the nut. Unscrew the screw a bit then screw it until you feel resistance. Once you fell resistance back the screw out a half a turn. Hold the screw right there and tighten the nut making sure that the screw did not move.

Its the top butterflies. The lower are your throttle butterflies

@@DRKKNTRACING it's either accelerating like crazy on its own or not accelerating at all. What I think is happening is that the tps is not well positioned and the car is getting crazy because it's not getting enough air as stock. We have a 20 mm restriction for the intake, by rule.

I have a GSX650F and I did the code check on my bike and the line is low, I tried to adjust it but wether I go right or left it stays low. Do you think i need to change the TPS? Iddle speed on my bike is on 600 revs/min, if i roll back on the throttle up to 1100-1200 revs/min the line stays in the middle as it should be.

Check fuel filter and fuel pump. Also check battery voltage and battery ground.

Seems like you know alot about that bike help me if you can buddy I have a GSXR 1000 2001 and the problem is that in N or any gear the bike wont rev past 5k rpm but when is cold it does go up to maybe 10 or 11 once it hit the normal temp it just wont go above that rpm 5k List of things I've check myself Injectors Gas tank Fuel pump Cam position sensor Air sensor ECU/CDI box Spark cables Sparks changed 3 times Air filter K&G filter Top butterflies removed TPS is on the - position where it should be Worse thing is that it doesn't show any F1 Codes the bike was sitting for 1 year & now this problem like i said any help will be appreciated

Jonathan Hernandez did you replace the tps sensor or adjust it. I if you haven't replaced it then I would try that other than that the only other sensor I can think of is the ap sensor under your seat.

Jonathan Hernandez no the one on the box is the iap sensor (intake air pressure sensor) the one under the seat is the ap sensor.
