I saw a 1-6 fps difference in favour of the 750 Ti. Bottom line - you wanna squeeze as many fps from your games as possible, get the 750 Ti. You want better power efficiency and temps, get the 1030. Where I live though, the 750 Ti is still 130, it'd be better value getting a 1030. Don't know how much they cost, but they're probably cheaper. 1070 is still 500 and 1080 is still 600+ here, so price is important for me.

I have gt 1030 Asus OC edition (with active cooling) , It increases core to 1950mhz during gaming and temp never higher than 52-55c MSI can oc it even more if needed! Card's temp limit is 90c (mb even more in fact)

I have owned the GT1030 for about a month now and I am very impressed with it's capabilities. I changed to the 1030 from a GTX 660 TI (OEM) card and immediately noticed a significant jump in the average FPS on GTAV and a HUGE jump in performance on Watchdogs2. Overall I think it is quieter and runs much cooler than the GTX did and it uses way less power. Also I run 4X BOINC for SETI running 16 simultaneous jobs. The 1030 outperforms every card I have owned when it comes to computing, even an EVGA GTX 990 SC that I use for computing as well.

Max doesn't really mean anything, the only thing that matters is avg (the number you're most likely to see while using), 1% lows, and .1% lows

I own a GT 1030 and it's now 8 months and I say consider adding atleast i3 processor minimum with that also bec. I have paired 1 TB drive and 8Gb Ram with G4400 and it gives 30-35 FPS on medium settings and forget about high settings, it will lag on regular card usage. All over I am satisfied with the card tho!

If you overclock the GT 1030 It will blow the GTX 750 TI out of the water!! Ive got 230mhz core clock increase and a 350mhz memory clock increase on my GT 1030 and its pretty snappy. I got the version with the fan. and set the fan profile to be more aggressive (as well as slightly increasing the voltage. so that I can keep a high core clock) and its got super decent performance

For the settings he chose in those games, the gym 1030 rendered the images a bit better and only had a small difference in framerate. And was cooler 100% of the time. You can actually have better looking game play and higher framerate if antialaising and shadow detail are kept low. If you rather keep antialaising, then shadow detailing it best at low

Note that most gt1030s work at pcie gen3 x4. While gtx 750ti works at pcie gen3 16x. Perhaps 750ti may work much better with older motherboards ,where it will work as at pcie gen2x16.

I bought my used fanless 1030 so my Media PC with a dual core G3258 could playback 4k video content. Cracks me up this low end card with its modern tech can allow this old system to play 8k 60fps video playback mostly all handled by the GPU. Great way to upgrade old systems. Just replaced the G3258 for a G4560 and the 1030 is paired up even better. Could even do basic games on this near silent system.

nice to see the 1030 performing well. Got my Asus GT 1030 GDDR5 from the mall, at 120 usd, overpriced.. but I went for it. over here, a used 750ti is about 80 usd, so it's cheaper than the 1030. But they're very hard to find, they sometimes appear at second hand stores.

best to go for 1030,the pricing is almost as much as a used 750ti for a new 1030 plus a minor oc would overcome the 750ti easily.....also lower power consumption and fits into all cases regardless of size..1030 is the clear winner in this one

The gt 1030 is better than a ps4 and an xbox. It plays the same games at 1080p with same (or better) Graphics with higher frame rates.

KGK you can’t say that the gt 1030 technically has higher framerates because games on consoles are either locked at 30 fps or 60 fps. If you were to uncap framerate on the PS4, it would be higher than the gt 1030 because of superior optimization.

This is actually surprisingly good performance for a GT card. Just a couple of generations back, they were kind of shitty considering the price and the relatively minor performance increase over integrated. Now they seem to be looking up.
