GT-40P Heads with HiPo Exhaust Manifolds on our 302 Project Engine

We dispel fears about installing GT40p heads onto a vintage 289/302 by showing you that you can in fact use them if you also install some cast iron HiPo style exhaust manifolds. Everyone seems afraid to go near these heads as they fear that their headers or exhaust manifolds will not be compatible. We are here to show you a combination that in fact works very well together. With the cost of exhaust headers these days getting out of control, these reproduction HiPo exhaust manifolds are a pretty fair alternative.
We also discuss some other things that have happened in the past few weeks and what to look forward to in some future videos.

They look nice, but they dont flow all that well. Ask Shelby. 300 to the tires? A modified engine will be restricted. Rocker arms: PRW Sportsman.👍 Never a problem.

Have You tried plastic welding the tabs on the lights ? I have used nylon zip ties as a filler material and have had good success fixing some aftermarket lights that I purchased from a scrap yard . Good luck . 🇺🇸🇵🇷🦊👍 P/S be careful of the fumes !

I thought about it, but with that particular bracket being on top the repair would be visible. Plastic welding usually looks pretty terrible even though it can be structurally sound. If the bottom brackets were the broken ones I would have considered it.
