I love the channel. I am a former BMX racer (Now 47 years old) I still ride and recently I purchased an 1986 Free Agent and with some original and some repop parts on it. I had an 87. I have always wanted a JMC. I used to come across them when I was younger and man I wish I would of bought every one of them. Keep doing what you are doing Thanks

I just recently got back into bmx , your videos have been a big help. My son & I just rebuilt my 90 mach one. We did the 87 decals too, they look awesome. Now all his friends want a "rad" old school bike lol Cheers from Rhode Island

That was a great idea on layering the blue sticker over the black. Plus it gives it a custom touch! Shop is gonna look great once you are done with all the upgrades! Gonna definitely make it out to visit in person!

Looks like 1988 decals. From what I remember the one's from Huntington Beach had a shorter tail out the back with the gt stamp. Never the less it's still in good spirit of an error

That Mach one looks sweet i like how it turned out so far!! Yeah in the 80s i had a gimmicky clear blue chain cover that was just a piece of flex tubing that went over your chain much like your seat post cover there. I remember the thing would keep coming off or get chewed up when i rode my bike but it was an interesting bike accessory to blow money on back then. But i think it caught more dirt then it kept out of my chain 🤣

I'm loving the daily vids and always eager to to watch your Channel. I have a 85 GT pro performer in chrome with blue and black parts, and you have given me a wicked idea with blue power series crank sticker. It is near mint condition too like your Mach 1. My pride and joy. If I was you I think I would get rid of the lay back accordion cover but the rest of it is sweet. Props to you and the channel. I'm from UK.

You know another way that you can get that axle in is the actually bring it from the sides and turn it till it goes into one side of the cone nuts and into the other. I did it one time temporary as a last minute thing since the bike i had to be done that day. I love the plastic seat post covers, those were the shit back then,i had alot of them. Nice mach 1 cant wait to see it finished.

Ditch the post cover, I've got the same problem with the forks and axle on my 85 Robinson so it's not just a GT thing. It sucks having to wait on parts to Finnish of a bike but in the end it's worth it when it's how you want it, can't wait to see the complete SE and GT builds when you're done.

I had this exact bike that I bought brand new in 89 loved it every day for the four years I had it till some dirtbag stole it. Those are not the correct 89 decals and the 89' did not come with a mallet stem. Sweet build nevertheless keep up the great builds.

Okay Sean I have a legitimate question I made the mistake of purchasing too many Michelin Cobra tires old school and they've got little micro cracks is there any kind of tape I can line the inside of the tire with to slow the progress of the cracking just for easy riding ??? I'm thinking even if I use duct tape to line it it would definitely help a little....... thanks man !
