I'm gonna get flack for this. But I prefer GT Vegeta over Super. In terms of continuations. GT Vegeta felt like the one who actually matured the most. He finally accepted he would be 2nd to Goku and stop chasing him. He no longer views himself as a saiyan from the saiyan race. But as a saiyan from earth. Part of the human race. Hell, there was one scene where Vegeta wanted to fight Goku. But Goku got hungry and powered down. Did Vegeta get annoyed or mad? No. The guy just laughed it off which really goes with his character growth. He's a family man, an earthling. He has a genuine relationship with his friends. Sure, he acts tough. But he shows care and spends time with those close to him. Even when he got SSJ4. No pride, no cockiness. He understood fusion was the only way to win and willingly fused just because his desire to protect his home far outweighs his pride. Super Vegeta felt like he forgot about his own speech against kid buu. The one thing they did right with him is Vegeta going down his own path. But his desire to surpass Goku is still present. The whole "you are #1" speech is just "na, jk. I'll be number one lol". Again, I'm at least glad Vegeta isn't trying to follow Goku's path. So that's a plus.
