Clear wrap the headlights. I’ve had that issue with scratching on plastic lenses.

I’m speechless! This car and all the effort you guys have put in.. incredible! Looks, sounds amazing! There really ain’t much like this about 👍. On another note... that film ‘Honey I shrunk the kids’.. When searching for the Kids in the garden, they rigged some kind of hammock/sling to the washing line... Any thoughts on said concept rigged up to the new ceiling of what I must say is a lovely (really lovely) looking workshop? Great work guys! Love your stuff!

Thanks! The only thing we've done since this video is get the heat working along with a fan that pushes the hot air down from the top. It works really well.

I’d recommend using a ppf film on the headlight lenses I do this on all the race cars I work on because they scratch so easy.

I think ceramic coating the lights (and paintwork) should help with scratches if you havnt done it already

I think the headlights need PPF too. They are made of see through cheese.

@@driftworks Arla has a polycarbonate that's a lot more scratch resistant than others, i think they called it zaphir or something like that. We used them as front windshield with wipers on som handicap carts where I used to work.

The car will be ceramic coated with Carbon Collective stuff. The headlights I may have to PPF as they are really bad for getting scratched.

There's nothing to update. Nothing is happening with it until the Lamborghini is done. That was always the rule when I bought the V10 M3 back. "It will not interfere with the Murcielago build" 👍

Reiter body kit / design I think. GT1 is the functional race side of it? But I'll await a response from Phil or DW, I'm probably wrong, haha

Reiter is the engineering company that converts original lambos to racecars. They design and manufacture all the non original racing parts that are on the car such as the bodywork. The "bodykit" thats on the car is actually from the le mans murcielago wich was converted by reiter

We've never had a leak in the roof. The gutters overflowed because of a blocked downpipe once.

👍 The up and down stops working from time to time. Usually works again once you key off/on. Also we keep getting an M red warning light and it slows down.

@@driftworks the lift / lower fault will be the joystick lever itself.. there's 2 Red 'm' lights on that truck.. one has an 'm' with a thermometer next to it for motor temp and the other an 'm' with 2 brush symbols either side. Depending on which warning light it is it could be an intermittent temp sensor, especially if it's not working that hard to actually physically get hot enough to overheat, or the motor brushes could just be on the cusp of the wear limit bringing the light on intermittently. 3 motors on that truck.. 2 drive on the front axle and 1 hydraulic under the cab that raises up. It's also common for the the drive motor commutators to burn out and get all pitted but the symptom of this tends to be jerky drive or no traction at all.

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks. Is there a way to clean up the joystick or do I need a replacement? The M-light is the one with the thermometer. It sometimes comes on immediately after using the forklift so that makes sense if the sensors are a known issue. Is it difficult to change? & how would I know which motor it is?
