GT3 is Better Than Ever! RSS's Assetto Corsa Mod Pack Updated

I used them as well - but they were more impressed by ACC in the end lol (even though I think with the RSS GT3s pushing the AC physics engine as much as they do, the ffb and the overall vehicle dynamics sometimes actually feel better than ACC!)

I agree that Race Sim Studio should make the Lanzo V10 free. This way, we can get it on LFM rookies instead of the low-quality mod of the Ferrari 296 that we have now.

Chem Flummi 296GT3 is not half bad as well, considering its free as well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (not sure whether we are talking the same 296 but here we are)

@@grammscooper1273Chem’s 296 uses a ported model from ACC. I think they just want to play it safe there and minimise the risk of action taken against them

@grammscooper1273 Yes, the car is free, and yes, the car is bad! I don't care if it is free as long as it is rubbish. I would rather pay money to have a car with good sounds and proper physics.

The flummi 296 unfortunately is really bad, it has a lot of bugs. Freeware does not safe it. The rss gt-m cars are well worth it. Every penny worth it in less frustration and enjoyment.

Why LFM chose those cars? There are many great stock cars, why gt3? Don't we have enough gt3 sims?

I was so apprehensive about "paid" mods when I first got into AC. But RSS and VRC put out such high quality stuff, now I look forward to every release.

theres a reason lfm uses them, theres no reason for me to try and get to griops with acc when i can race these cars in ac.. kinda regret spending the money on acc and all its dlc

I can't lie but the m6 is the best gt3 for me personally (I'm a Porsche fan not a bmw fan) but the sounds are really really good, the 5th and 6th gear whine addition is pretty accurate and a very unique v8 sound, the 3D model updates too make this car very visually appealing.

I agree wholeheartedly that the RSS GT-M's (GT3) are the best in sim racing. They feel incredible and really fun to drive. However, I actually love the Bayer. :)

I like the Bayer but it's not the most exciting of the RSS GT3 cars in a short session like Mike did. However, I've done several 3 hour races in it since it was released and it provides a really good, stable platform to race with. Cars like the Lanzo are more fun with their screaming engines, but after an hour or two, this starts to become tiring. I find it much the same with the RSS GT1 pack. The screaming V12s are more fun in short sessions, but I find the V8 Saleen (Shadow) is a bit quicker over an endurance race because it's a bit less stressful to drive and better on tyres cause it's not a screamer. Just my thoughts, but I think the M6 (Bayro) is a really good and underrated sim car.

Hands down the best GT3 cars I’ve driven in any sim. No contest. Everything is spot on, the handling, sound, immersion and build quality. Easily worth way more than the asking price. Looking forward to setting up a championship series with these amazing cars.

Loving your channel bud! I just went and bought ALL the cars from RSS. Gold mine! 50 bucks for a pile of AWESOME GT3 and formula cars. They're the best experience I've had with Assetto...not kidding. Thanks for the tip on these. RSS makes primo cars!

Not getting emails about updates from them. I hate mods not having version numbers and update dates etc easy to find. I have no idea if I have the latest versions or not for most of my AC mods, including the paid ones.

Absolutely agree with your thoughts on the Mercer. I tried the update last night and loved how the car felt. I can't say any to how accurate it is to the real thing, but the Merc in all the other sims, just feels too stiff to me. This one feels like it hits the sweet spot.

My favorite cars to drive in AC! Did you use the recommended sound settings that RSS mentions in the PDF instructions? Your transmission sound seems much more prominent than what I am experiencing. There is a sound setting that links transmission sound levels to the engine sound level. What sound settings are you using?

I feel like you should do a video of the external sounds of the GT Legends and GT-M cars. The external sounds are so accurate, it's almost doing a disservice by not including it in these videos.

Great question. I’m neither smart nor intelligent enough to understand the intricacies of skinning in Assetto Corsa, but I believe the only impacted car would be the Lambo EVO2, since the front bonnet was changed. But I could be wrong…

No idea. I suspect it could at least be another year. I’m not sure they’ll make the Porsche. URD’s is really good, so I’m not sure they’ll want to invest their time recreating something we already have a well-established version of.

@@giorgosnespapoulis7686 it’s my mistake I haven’t explained myself properly, what I meant is, given the fact that RSS uses different names to avoid any copyright issues and that he doesn’t begin with an outside view of the car I can’t tell which car is which (as in which car is X actually based on) until the end of the lap when he shows the TV camera

Most of them are skinned tracks from Reboot Team. The skins come from Pyyer. I am a member of the Patreon so have access to all skins.
