Takes a lot trust in an engine to ride at that speed on roads like that.

Goes great, sounds great. I was interested in the climb up from Blacow (J30) to Broughton (J32) and it ate it.

I was imaging there may have been a 75 year old man in one of those vehicles seeing this Lambretta whizzing by all the cars and remembering his Lambretta in the 60s and thinking "how in the world is that guy able to go so fast and not seize up the motor!?"

Nice, how lovely, to have that cruising speed👌, tbf, id be happy with 60/65, it sounds great at those speeds! and then that top end as the icing on the cake 💪.

Looks like you were doing your best to keep it below 90mph? Thoroughly impressive.

Was wondering what mpg did you obtain during this run...?

I'm pretty sure it uses less fuel than my smaller but more high strung engine. My engine of 225 cc air cooled spins 8,000 rpm at 80 mph. This 290 cc liquid cooled engine in this video spins at only 6200 rpm at 80 mph and can push that Lambretta even a lot faster than he's riding in the video. My engine is about tapped out at 80 mph.

GPS data resets every 17 minutes or so as that's how long each video file is, not yet found a way to merge the GPS data in to one track.

What engine is it? Is it a bike engine?
