GT7 - Daily B McLaren Gr3 Tune - Nurburgring GP Layout

This week's daily race B on GT7 partial tuning returns, and let's face it I could use any edge i can get.. 😏 so here is what i've come up with..

This is a very good setup! The car feels very stable and absolutely eats the curbs! Especially at the chicane! thank you!

@@illumineddiie Mate 👊🏽 I'm so glad to hear that. I know sometimes these setups can be good for one person's driving style but not great for another person's so it's nice to know that people like it. I felt like it was a decent stable option so it was worth sharing. Really appreciate the feedback 👍🏽🐺👊🏽

I’m always McLaren for manufactures but I’m brutal with them. This set up helped, but it still turns like a boat for me when I get long in turns. 2:03 time

Yeah I like the McLaren in group 3 cause it's stable and is quicker since it's last BOP update but it can be unforgiving in corners when you don't apply it just right I agree. Glad it helped, thanks for the feedback mate 👍🏽🐺

@@wolffpackracing This is the first time I set up a Gr3 car. I presumed that with the Balance of Performance, it all gets wiped out.

@@MBMusicGeek yeah so anything that effects power or weight would, but this is just mechanical grip and LSD stuff. Some people don't like the settings being available but I do. At least sometimes, so we get to use it.

I went McLaren in last manufacturers and used the f1 in the last race at Daytona on High BoP and it was up there like - won on second try. This tune is a bit power oversteery for me so I altered the diff settings an dropped the rear anti roll and it was better - but was still over a second behind my Ferrari time despite trying with it for an hour. Guess my driving style just doesn’t suit this car on medium BoP even with setup tweeks allowed. Thanks for the tume tho chief - loved the Suzuki Jimny one tho 👌

@@davidjones4032 yeah driving style always plays into it dude. I'm not the fastest guy in the world and Nurburgring ain't my best track either but I figured some people could do well with it.
