I love these "beat the meta" videos! I don't ever drive meta cars... Just can't. I should so I could move up to A DR.... Lol... I tried the Lambo earlier in the week and while it was fun I am having better success with the R8 evo. Less power but I'm quicker in it..... Maybe it's just me. But, way to go! You beat the meta!

Lambo is my choice for tt here. Not nearly as oversteery as people think it is. I think the good thing about beat the meta. Even if you dont do it. You'll get some good racing from it

I’m nearing about 7,000 miles (11265.41km) on the GT3 Bull, this update did for sure made the car not so twitchy but for this race with RH, struggles a little until tires warm up enough

I have been loving Yamigiwa this week. Oversteer central. Those kerbs are deathly seductive, especially in the Supra. The 911 and RCZ seemed much easier to drive though.

I was in a few of those races and it was the catalyst to improve my qualifying - just turns into a wreck fest further back! As for the Lambo, definitely going to give it a try now; I’m quite partial to the 458, for the traction and stability out of corners, but it is also difficult to pass or defend against a well driven Supra…I share your pain! On a side-note, it was great to finally be in a race with you. Your race guide videos are a definite highlight and great for quickly getting a good time down. P.S. I had the honour of ‘racing’ another famous GT driver this morning, the famous Kimi Velocini. I can confirm that his reputation is fully deserved - dirtiest driving I have ever witnessed. Honestly so bad that I could only laugh when he rammed me off as it was so blantant 😂😂😂

Hey there Tidge !!! I was grinding this race to finally get to an A driver rating & it had just gone midnight & I saw you in the lobby, which I thought was impossible !!!! I did well considering the competition, especially for a B-S rated driver, starting 7th & finishing in 4th ! 😲 I really didn't think you would use this for a video as I noticed you took the lead quite quickly. I actually got my A rating from this one. Great to see you on track whereas I had no right to be, that's what I was telling myself !! 👍

Thanks for that but you were soon GONE in that Lambo 👍 Believe it or not, the next race had Kimi in it & I thought he'd take me back down to B ! He was right in front of me 😲 He had incidents with someone else though & came about 13th. I was that focussed or is that the other way around that I didn't even see him taken out ? 😂

I suspect overtime from what I can see so far, the 2020 Mercedes might actually end up better then the Supra. It seems far more stable and more planted. Won't be surprised if we see it end up topping the charts next week. Also: "I'm finally in the lead of this goddamned race!" I absolutely felt that, remembered one sport race where it just felt like everything that could go wrong did and just when I was ready to give up, a massive pile up happened in front with 2 laps to go. Ended up winning that and I felt like I won the world final.

Lambo has been more driveable, but still not enough to be reliable in race trim, especially with undulations and big kerbs, feel like mr's run really low after big overhaul update. Also don't get why people weave, seen some testing with no noticeable tire temp gains. Unfortunate bit of bop though, was some good racing in the end. Do think the attempts should be limited to like 5, otherwise the novelty of it kinda wears off to me at least

The limited attempts was the biggest sort of should I or shouldn't I thing but as a few said with the decision some of the cars down the road are going to be incredibly hard to do (PUG VGT I am not looking forward to 😂

@@tidgney think depending on situation it should be limited to like 5 attempts taking in some factors, obviously being crashed out or disconnect wouldn't count, the kind of race and such. Maybe pug could be 'usable' this week, should be stable and wide, so people would have to pass on the grass and probs can hold its own on straights🤣
