What keys do you use to get it up/down? Nothing works for me in definitive edition

Hold forward, once you start sparking let go of forward and hold the gas. Tap up to maintain altitude once the plane starts flying, the plane will go up and down by itself.

What keys have you mapped for accelerate, turn left, turn right and lean forwards? Those are literally the only commands you'll ever need to fly the Dodo.
