To all those guys who like driving these things, I'll join you in that. Sometimes it's just curious to see how this thing will behave on the road and it's a nice change both from bikes and normal cars. And actually the beaters add realism to the traffic: I'm sure that no matter whether you're in the US or in some other country, you'll always manage to see a few cars like this on the roads while driving: some nearly falling apart, yet customized beater with music booming from the inside and some "cool guy" at the driving wheel.

Nah, there's tons of beaten up cars driving anywhere you go. Not as commonly as fixed up or non damaged cars, but I've seen my fair share of dented cars, cars with bad exhausts, rust etc. It's usually just a matter of when they get pulled over since cops don't always do so, or inspection gets em.

They are completely different. Because those cars are high end, they emit fire from their exhausts. However, since these (beater) vehicles are extremely broken, they spread cancer from their exhausts. :D

It's a shame the beater cars in GTA V weren't as good in detail and just lacking in general, not to mention this generation camaro would be even older in that game so the fact they didn't include beater variants in the more rural areas of the map is mind boggling.

yeah call me weird also but this thing is a lot more fun to drive compared to some of the sports and super cars haha. i found it funny how i often went for these rusty cars instead of super nice sports cars, it makes you appreciate the nice sports cars a lot more and i also loved the level of detail they put into making this model with it's "poor" (fun) suspension, heavy smoke and bangs when you shift :D they weren't that slow either in my opinion and i didn't feel bad for crashing it since it was already broken :D
