That torture scene is my favourite thing Rockstar has ever done. The camera angles that tell the mood. When Niko is unafraid and in charge the camera and posture of everyone in the scene puts them on Niko's level. But when Faustin walks in and takes control away from Niko, they switch to low angle shots. Pushing the camera down into the floor, making you the player feel small and powerless. Just like how Niko suddenly feels knowing that at any moment, Faustin could shoot him or worse shoot Roman.

When I was a kid I always liked Niko because he looked like my Uncle but was Mexican. Short stature but well manners. We lived in a bad part of the city but he was never fazed and carried himself in a weird safe way like Niko. Complety calm and relaxed. He was from Tjanna but in reality my dad says he doesn't know where he's from because his parents put him in a dumpster and left hit to die. The church saved him.
