I judge vehicles based on how fun they are to drive in freeroam. If the car isn't very fast but it's still fun to drive and looks nice, then it's a keeper and in my opinion, the Deviant meets those requirements. Besides, people really don't do muscle car races much in this game anymore.

There is a customization glitch for the spoiler but the first and second spoiler then flick between the two quickly and you won’t have a spoiler. Better than the duck tail in my opinion.

The handling flags for this are strange indeed. When I drive in a straight line it kind of drags to the left by itself. After hitting a bump it also dragged to the right. It definitely feels different compared to the other vehicles with handling flag imo.

Customized this one to look like the Trans Am 20000 from Redline... Some will say to use the Imponte Phoenix for a Trans Am build, but this car just looks a lot closer to the Trans Am 20000 than the Phoenix, it even has a similar livery and hood option to the one from the movie...

@@jonathanp.1712 Two tone. That's what I meant to say. Unless you can change the color of the gray livery, the only way to get the top half of the car black is to A: keep the roof as stock, B: choose a carbon hood and C: choose a carbon spoiler.

You should try playing on fivem. The cars on project homecoming dont have those handling flags that make the car unstable/slow.

I really love this car but with those handling flags...even my (free) Vigero is better. If you see the statistics from the site this car should be almost like the Dominator, but sadly it's not.

What's the thought process of the designers making DLC cars perform poorly? I thought they wanted to sell shark cards? Outside of the Jay Leno car collector types, I imagine most players aren't going to invest in these cars unless they really like the looks, or they have $ to burn.

TACADD what I’m talking about is happening to all of the vehicles, not just new ones. Seems like a bug in the game. It even happens to the delivery trucks 🚚 for the club/mc/organization missions and when it does you are lucky to get up a slight incline. Like I said it’s not consistent, but it happens a lot for all vehicles. It didn’t used to be like this and honestly it’s why I’m not playing the game right now, as it makes driving frustrating.

You can have cool colors and liveries that fit these muscle cars. There's plenty of options to pick from. The muscle car era was filled with bright colors and graphics to match, especially the MOPARs. I don't know what you're doing to make your muscle cars look like ricers.

When you said resto-mod, it made think. You no longer see just a well maintained classic with original pieces anymore. People just go and destroy these classics. I’m not saying that I don’t like the resto-mods, there’re really good resto-mods I saw from Barrett Jackson this past auction but there were some bad ones. It all comes down to tastes. But, who am I to judge🤷‍♂️.

True. But sometimes if it's a car that's beyond repair with just too much rust and rare parts to find, it's almost impossible to restore it back to how it was new. That's one of the reasons why people do restomods as well.
