Stretch didn't betray them. Instead Lamar and Franklin were at fault. They kidnapped D and broke the truce between CGF and the Ballas. So to negotiate and broker peace, stretch likely gave Lamar up to the Ballas as compensation, which he told both Franklin and Lamar in the mission "Long Stretch" while returning after losing cop, that the gang comes first no matter what. Stretch never betrayed anyone, he was just a liability and personal enemy to franklin after he set Lamar up.

Btw you can buy a LS Panic top for Franklin in one of the clothing stores, Which is widely worn by the Ballas meaning that Franklin doesn't really care if he wear Green or Purple.
