IMattUltra1 no, he hit the main rotor. The main rotor of any helicopter can take two rockets before it breaks. So the rotor tanked a couple shots from the rocket making it take more to kill it. It still takes 3 homing/RPG to kill normally

Both have slightly different uses. The akula is a fast, agile, and stealthy transport heli. With the ability to grief people. The hunter is a vehicals buster and is more desgined to fight them. Of the two, I suggest the akula with homing missiles. It's fast, its stealthy, and if you have some little Shit on an opressor, just enter stealth mode, get behind him and let off enough homing missiles that there isnt a possibility he survives.

I prefer the Hunter because to me, the Akula flies a little strange as is quite heavy. The hunter, though basically the same weight, controls better. Also explosive MG (it can screw griefers).

Finally someone showcases the Hunter's .50 cal gunner turret, it seems weaker that b4 tho.. And also there is no reason to "upgrade" the Akula's passenger miniguns to dual, it's essentially a cash grab & it is/was bugging out the homing missiles preventing them from locking on.

I’ve counted the holes on the akula’s barrage rocket pods. There are 18 each (36 total). It would’ve been nice if they shoot 12 rockets at once (6 from each side). If you look at the hunter, the hunter’s missiles ACTUALLY leave the pods. It would be a HUGE barrage if the akula did that.

this is another case of The Savage Vs. Hydra when they came out. The akula is a really good cargo aircraft (due to its stealth mode and increased agility), while the fh-1 is a literal designed attack helicopter (bombs, gunner seat, barrage and homing missiles). it’s all personal preference. i wreck house in a savage, and still have yet to purchase the hydra
