GTA 5 - Past DLC Vehicle Customization - Canis Kalahari (Citroën Mehari)

Welcome back to the series where I customize and review OG, and older DLC Vehicles from late 2015 and older that I was never able to make videos on. The reason I make these videos on these older cars is to provide my opinion on how they currently stack up to newer ones in-game. And ultimately, help you better decide whether or not you should buy them when/if the more expensive ones go on sale.

I'm pretty sure the shifter is accurate to the real car as the 2cv has the same design. It works by twisting and pushing to select the gears

I have a Kalahari in my garage since it came out because it reminds me of the Mehari and the Citroen 2CV my grandpa had. Both cars were extremely beaten up by the time I was born and I barely remember anything else of them except how fun they were to drive. I also remember that I learnt to drive in the Mehari back when I was 10.

Yes, one of the only french car in the game ! In real life, this was the beach/offroad version of the Citroën 2CV ! France is my country and I want to say that your the best customiser of cars in car game from all your french subscribers ! Keep going DCA !

This car is neat. I like the boxy shape. It has good acceleration. It would just be nice to drive around anywhere if you're not in a hurry. I like to imagine driving it through the woods at night.

Hell yes, one of my favorite oddballs in the whole game. It's fun for taking a friend on dirt roads, it's surprisingly capable as far as handling goes Also, as a side note, the shifter is actually pretty accurate to early Citroens which had a shifter that protruded from the dashboard. Same H pattern it was just pushed away and pulled towards you instead of the usual on the floor arrangement

The shifter is similar to other weird Citroen shifters. You HAVE to look at a video of someone going through gears in one of those transmissions. It looks hilarious

It’s basically Citroen 2CV, but it has this plastic body. Fun fact in real life when you drive it, you can’t adjust the seat at all and it leaves you driving with your legs in a weird position the whole time.

It may be cause I'm French but I wish there were more French cars in this game, at least the 2CV and the DS, or even the traction those are classics, but anyway the mehari is pretty cool
