The entire mission with Stretch was simply Stretch basically telling on himself as a backstabbing traitor to the CGF gang practically. Stretch mentioned to Lamar and Franklin enroute to the recycling plant that he said "crossed lines " in prison with the enemy Ballas gang, Stretch then acts suspicious in the gang ambush attack by the Ballas at the recycling plant, D inadvertently hinted towards Stretch's betrayal by stating Stretch knew why Lamar and Franklin were being set up to be clipped for kidnapping D earlier, which enraged Stretch because D hinted at his treacherous nature in front of Franklin and Lamar and in revenge, rage and to silence D from exposing Stretch's betrayal, Stretch shot D execution style. It was survival to silence D as a loose end from exposing Stretch's betrayal of the Chamberlain Gangster Families and getting him killed. Afterwards, Stretch was forced to help Franklin and Lamar shoot through the Ballas to escape the recycling plant before the cops showed up. Stretch was setting Lamar up the whole time and all three times he sent Lamar and Franklin into a death trap. Lamar was a dumbass to not see that Stretch was a snake.

As i know, at this point Stretch didn't know about Franklin and Lamar kidnapping D. Until that moment Ballas and Families had peace, they hate each other, but there was no war. And then Lamar kidnapped a respected Ballas OG, D recognized Lamar, and then he brought his men to ambush Lamar. That's why D says "this isn't about you, man, THESE niggas fucked up". Stretch became friendly with Ballas, but still helped to kill everyone, including D, to not leave any witnesses. But after this he was trying to give Lamar to the Ballas to calm them down, so they could have revenge and calm down. That Grove Street deal with drywall block, or kidnapping Lamar at Paleto Bay sawmill. Stretch was trying to give Lamar to Ballas. He is a bastard, for sure, but it is actually Lamar's fault.

Stretch drew his pistol and, out of murderous, vengeful rage towards D for inadvertently and unintentionally implicating Stretch's betrayal of the CGF gang and to silence D as a loose end from exposing Stretch's treacherous nature as a turncoat CGF OG high ranking gang member turned Ballas gangbanger and double agent traitor inside while in prison, shot D in cold blood execution style with no remorse. Afterwards, Stretch was forced to stand and fight alongside Franklin and Lamar shooting through the Ballas gangsters to escape the recycling plant before the police arrived to the shootout and either killed or arrested the trio and the remaining Ballas gang members left. Stretch set Lamar and Franklin up again to be ripped off, ambushed and killed on Grove Street the alternate 3D GTA universe version of Grove Street from the original GTA San Andreas predominantly ruled and inhabited by the Grove Street Families Street gang in the alternate original 2D GTA universe, unexpectedly bringing Trevor fortunately who exposed the brick of so called cocaine as drywall in the form of a brick and the shady lowlife drug dealer cat called and cued the Ballas to come out of the woodwork as planned to put in the work but Franklin, Lamar and Trevor killed the Ballas and escaped. Then Stretch set dumbass Lamar up One last time to make a said peace and money making opportunity in the backwoods of San Andreas at an abandoned sawmill with his enemies. The Ballas expectedly ambushed, kidnapped, tortured and would've executed Lamar till Franklin, Trevor and Michael showed to his rescue. Lamar was fucking epitome of stupidity.

Stretch already switched sides in prison and joined the Ballas in prison but the Ballas on the streets still thought Stretch was a high ranking OG (original gangster and high ranking gang member) in the Chamberlain Gangster Families until Stretch offers Franklin and Lamar up to the Ballas and revealed his betrayal inside after. The two set ups after this were orchestrated by Stretch to kill Lamar.

This game came out in 2013 bro I think everyone is well informed but the part you missed was that Stretch didn't have to kill D if him and D set the whole thing up he could of killed frank and Lamar right then and there instead of helping them fight through the ballers but you do make valid points about stretch setting them up because he actually was playing both sides but the truth is the reason he betrayed them was because Grove Street wasn't the same and the ballers was taking over and he knew he couldn't make no money being a Grove Street OG trying to move weight so he did what he had to do which is why he told them the game/gang come first if he has to choose between them. Lastly this scene doesn't expose his betrayal because stretch didn't know about the kidnapping/Tv gang intervention so stretch was still at this time Grove affiliated and D didn't know stretch plan which gave stretch the opportunity to kill him right there he didn't plan on setting frank and Lamar til the middle of the game after he found out that they were getting money without him so he knew if he could set Lamar up then he knew he would get frank by himself eventually but stretch was so dumb to think Lamar didn't have friends like Micheal and Trevor to help frank track Lamar down lol

@@jaykisuke3397 No. Stretch had already switched sides in prison. He even hinted this telling Lamar and Franklin he had been "Crossing lines, " in prison. Stretch and D both set up the first ambush at the recycling plant. Stretch clipped D to prevent D from exposing Stretch's betrayal of the CGF and for D hinting at Stretch's betrayal in front of Franklin and Lamar.

The sole reason that Stretch shot D execution style in front of Franklin and Lamar was to silence D from exposing Stretch's betrayal of the CGF and for Stretch to not blow his cover as a traitor I the CGF gang. Like why Ryder helped CJ and Sweet Johnson shoot back at the Ballas in the original GTA San Andreas drive through mission. Stretch had already switched sides in prison and was in on setting up Franklin and Lamar at the recycling plant. Stretch killed D to not be exposed as a turncoat. Even helped Franklin and Lamar shoot through the Ballas gang members to escape for survival to not be discovered for his treachery and role in setting them up. Afterwards Stretch set up Franklin, Lamar and Trevor on Grove Street with a shady drug dealer selling fake coke/drywall and then summoning the Ballas gang members, who were waiting outside to ambush Lamar, Franklin and Trevor, but the Ballas nor Stretch expected Trevor to be back up for Franklin and Lamar. Then Stretch sent Lamar into a trap in the abandoned sawmill in the backwoods to be ambushed, kidnapped and killed by the Ballas under the ruse of a so called peace making and fast cash opportunity. Lamar was too stupid to see his "Big Homie " Stretch was a lowlife snake in the grass.

I don't know why people hate on this game recently but this is one of the best open world games I have ever played. GTA V has aged well 10 years later, its not a perfect game (no game is) but it still has an incredible amount of replay value which 90% modern games today don't have.
