always hated checkpoints in GTA 5, they needed to make the checkpoint size adjustable but yes the last car the rear (at least the tail lights) looks like a hemi cuda, but the rest (especially the front) looks like an AMC javlin

Has anyone else tried racing in a public race on gta? All I can find is lobbies with people that crash into you to get past and it’s possibly the most frustrating thing known to man.

That's basically every racing game catered towards a younger-than-20 player base. GTA may not be designed for that playerbase, but it's the majority of their players. People don't learn racing etiquette at all from those games unless they want to race seriously, at which point most realize they don't keep up with the serious guys and sticks to ramming and sabotaging to gain an edge.

That's how public multiplayer is. It doesn't matter what rules you have, when it says "GO", they will go and do whatever to keep their lead.

I wonder if anyone could answer a quick question? I've recently made the move from xbox to PC, because I'm used to using a controller I've continued using one on the PC. However I've had a few comments in races that this is cheating. Is this true? Do people tend to view using a controller as bad form?

Uuuuuuuh nooooooo? I've never heard of using a controller as cheating. Most PC gamers have a controller even if they have never had a console, just because some games are more fun with controller

Even though I'm not much into gaming videos, in comparison to the majority I switched through, I appreciate his lightheartedly way of speaking, always focused on the game itself. It's quite comfortable listening to him. Sometimes it seems, he's one of a very few, actually enjoying the games. - Having a lot interest in the history of English too, quickly I was wondering about his accent. There are well-known spots, in the South East (Essex, Kent) they tend to devoice the endings, or the lowering of the /ai/ diphthong towards a faint "oi" soind as in I, my, thy, hide, while, ice, shy etc. (Kate Bush, although more RP, just faintly ^^). The far Northern England is known for its Geordies and the broad accent of Yorkshire, usually those dialects have still archaic features such as the old monophtongic vowels out vs. ut, probably due to their geographically (Northhumbrian) proximity towards Scots. The South West (Wiltshire, Somerset) is lesser known for its very archaic features tracing straight back to the Anglo-Saxon period "I be, you bist" instead "am, are". And so on, and so on. Don't mind my bla bla ;-)

Too proper...too live!!! This has to be the squeakiest clean ass races of all time...ever!!! I mean sparkling white 8o!!! You do know the game doesn't care how t f one got it...I mean don't get me wrong...I'd prefer a clean race, meself aswell...I hate getting f-ed out of a finish as anyone...however this is Grad Theft Auto...you're supposed to go a long l balls to the wall!!! Ah the deviant is based off of an AMX Javelin that was customized by the ring brothers, what I call the wheel barrel car given its wide wheel arches that take up most of the bodywork in the front, problem is just like the ellie mustang before it, one of my favorite cars in the game, its slow as hell, and unlike the ellie it drives like crap, like all that power and it drives like a Honda civic 4 banger from the 90's with a Wonky suspension, like are you MAD rockstar?! it looks THIS great and drives THIS Awful?! like atleast the ellie felt a touch like it had a V8 and drove relatively well despite it, granted it felt like someone stole the motor out and had to replace its supercar esque 427 V8 with a 150 horsepower Chevy 305 with over 300k on the clock in a hurry just so they could drive the thing till a replacement could get sorted. bu twhat is it with Rockstar making cars that look great but suck recently?! hell just TRY and race the Vamos and the Tulip, as you'll have one hell of a mexican jumping bean of a time trying to keep those things on the road at 40 MPH

Copyright Sir no sir.. its the other way around! Its way to easy to overtake someone.. all you do is sit behind someone wait for the straight, and than pass them. Its like using DRS with formula 1.. of bowling with the tubes on the sides! 😏 but when slipstreaming is off, you actually have to work to overtake. Beat them on the breaks, get the right line, a better line, wait for them to make a mistake etc.. it takes a lot more skill and way more better racing action etc! In this type of races you’ll see that the first 3 guys that were on the lead at the start, also are the 3 that finished first..

slipstream isnt so bad. But having both slipstream and catch up is pointless. Most tracks dont need catchup. And for those it can be nice dont use slipstream. Makes for 'boring' races where the first 3 cars always are first.

Ugh! The cars with advanced handling flags. Ew. Ew. Ew. And catchup with slipstream. Ew. I get that you're not broughy, but you do do serious racing so it could be nice to see some racing with more focus on skill rather than slipstream and catchup being the deciders. Maybe just use catchup only to keep races closer, slipstream is just OP. (Unless you're in vans). Rant over. At least the track covers lampposts

I do hope you realize that you're complaining about someone else using a vehicle that handles like shit. He wasn't racing to gain any sort of trophy or anything either so it doesn't matter in the slightest if the car he was driving had AHFs.
