Let's settle the score. The net shown at 13:00 is for either shot put or discus events. The lip on the circle in the center of the net is for shot put based on Google images, but since some of the images don't have it, its either not required for events or its removable and people don't use it during practice. The same net is also used for discus throwing, but the lip is not used for discus events, so it's currently set up for shot put. The net in its current configuration is not for hammer throw. Generally, hammer throw nets are extended straight out from the throwing area like a U. The nets are also generally taller, but some configurations had a short semicircle like the current net with the straight sections of the U increasing in height. So while the net shown could be used as part of a hammer throw net if it had separate taller nets, it is not currently in the hammer throw configuration. I'll repeat, this is based on a Google image search. I am not a field event expert nor do I care to become one. If you had something different at your school, I don't care.
