As a volunteer firefighter, you’re supposed to give care to the patient in the back of the ambulance IF YOU HAVE A FULL CREW. DOJ SHOULD NOT HAVE ONE MAN AMBULANCE CREWS

Once the Server cap is upped maybe you'll see full crew medics, but as it stands now, one man per apparatus. ALSO depends on how many fire are online. And I dont think that you can have more than one person in the back of a medic.

I believe part of the reason EMS on DOJ takes so long vs real life is the fact of giving EMS more to actually RP. That way they can do more than just transport.

Having a “hi vis” bulletproof vest would be a good addition for the stringers or at least a bright colored vest with “Media” or “Stringer” on it just so there’s no mis identification because a black shirt and black vest does seem suspicious

Hey Jeff do a solo episode where you are RP as an underage kid. Have a ped model that looks like a kid. The only thing we need is that you talk in a kid voice, like you haven't witnessed puberty yet when talking to the cops. I used to run ems irl before moving to bigger better things and you are absolutely correct. Some calls would be time consuming like this, but in the case of gsw and other life threatening scenarios it’s known as load and go. Get them in the rig asap and move.

In the EMS world, we have what is called 'the golden hour'. from injury to hospital should never take more than an hour. After an hour, depending on how bad the trauma, organs will start failing, infections will spread, and sepsis becomes even more of a danger.

@Jeff I binge watched Shot in the Dark lol I am now working on coding a plugin that will allow us to do it in single player. You will have to race other stringers to the scene and get your shots where the blips are. This will be awesome bc you can use the phone camera and zoom in. I can't wait for you to have some competitor stringers, making it more difficult for you.

Jeff the reason EMS does all of the stuff they do on scene is bc they have to do it bass-ackwards. Since there isnt actually a hospital for them to take care of people in they do it all on scene just so they have something to RP more than just a taxi with a siren

any possible life threatening injuries or GSW's requires paramedics to prep the patient for transportation, could take 10mins, could take 1hr, depends on how bad the patient is hurt, even if they are bleeding out, protocol must be followed at all times, because if a serious bleed (e.g. a cut artery) is not dealt with asap, they might not make it to the hospital, slow the bleed first so the patient makes it back before bleeding out and dying on scene or on route to the hospital....my Sister got hit by a car when she was 6yrs old (its ok, she is fine now, was a long time ago, she is in her late 20's now), but the Ambo's took ages to "prep her for transport" to the hospital (yes, i am an Aussie, we call Paramedics Ambulances, a.k.a Ambo's), we were on the side of the road for like 30-40mins before they finally loaded her into the Ambo and went to the hospital, they said it is protocol to determine whether the patient is fit enough to travel safely and in a stable condition before they even think about putting her into the Ambo, i found that out because i went nuts at the doc at how long they were taking to take her to the hospital, hahaha, awesome vid's man, Polecat still cant drive for shit, rear ending everything pretty much, even when putting around like a nanna......hahaha, jk's XD

ems... yeah, you want to get them to the hospital quickly and get back out there... but at the same time if someone has a huge gash on their leg or something, its a good idea to make sure they're not going to bleed out in the next 4 mins before they can get to the hospital, and the rest of the work you can do on the way there... as in all things though, there is a balance. move quickly and safely. its no good if the emergency services break themselves while trying to help someone.
