I will never understand that art direction with the pre-rendered cutscenes. Even on PS3 they looked visibly worse than in game. They are just low quality captures with a load of depth-of-field on top. Such a weird decision.

None of the cutscenes were pre-rendered though. The game's resolution was really low on consoles and the depth of field was also in the gameplay.

@@olzhas1one755 but.. it also looks bad in this capture on PC?! I do trust they aren’t pre-rendered and I am super confused. *How* did they manage to make them that distinctly different and worse looking? Is it just the DOF ramped up to max?

@sparschlumpf Yes, they force DOP in cutscenes as well as locking the framerate (which evidently doesn't always work).

@@beastyy384 I guess EBen is playing it on Steam, which doesn't have multiplayer achievements anymore. At least the Complete Edition doesn't.
