GTA IV: LTA Subway Improvement Mod.

This is a Lite Mod for GTA IV on the LTA Subway System, Improving the Announcements and changing the Subway Car Textures to be more 70's / 80's looking with no graffiti added while Announcements are made to be more realistic to fit of how the MTA trains in NYC announce them and had improved the Line Announcements to each Subway Line. Fun fact: in the beta version of GTA 4 we were supposed to get 4 more train lines which were the D, 7, Z, and 4 lines. The Dukes Blvd station which is a station that is under construction in the game was supposed to be a functional station that ran via the J, 3, A, and 8 lines. The trains would run from Dukes Blvd to Frankfort Av. After Easton the D, 7, Z, 4 trains would get their own stops. It’s not known what they were called but the train would terminate at Frankfort High. Which u could make a transfer to the K, C, E, B. Plus in the beta Frankfort high was gonna be a rlly huge station and would also have a stairwell to Frankfort Low. The D and 7 were the Algonquin outer line like the J and A, and the Z and 4 were the Broker line which was only for trains underground. These train lines were scrapped because it would have been considered a waste of time to make the line due to it being pretty useless. They instead wanted to make the D, 7, Z, 4 to run from Alderney to Algonquin. This idea was also scrapped for unknown reasons so they just never added the D, 7, Z, and 4 lines into the game.

Man I would love a GTA game or any open world game to be in NYC but to be map accurate

My dream is for a GTA with a version of Liberty City the size of GTA V's map (in addition to parts of Alderney, Long Island and some of upstate NY for some diversity), with a much larger and more realistic subway system, buses that actually have routes and pick up/drop off passengers, all the bridges and tunnels, way more traffic and pedestrians on the streets, the Long Island Railroad/Amtrak, the Staten Island ferry, all the new skyscrapers that have gone up in the years since IV came out, etc. I was hoping GTA VI would be set in a new and improved Liberty City, but I suppose I'm okay with Vice City. Hopefully my dream comes true some day when I'm still alive to see it. And I'd much rather it be done by Rockstar than some other developer, as I strongly feel that they're the absolute best at making open world games and creating environments that truly feel like living, breathing worlds.

I still don't know why in san quenten on widmil street hove beach and easton line J they don't say the announcement until the other station in san quenten says Frankfort high in widmil, Frankfort low in hove beach, shottler And in Esaton J,emerald but they don't say san quenten, to widmil, from widmil to san quenten, from hove beach to Easton and from Easton to hove beach they would have to say for me in the seasons like it says in others this On line B the next stop is widmil street, you are on line E the next stop is san quenten avenue, you are on line 8 the next stop is Esaton, you are on line J the next stop is Hove beach.and I'm talking about the station loudspeakers not the train ones

You have to press V to change camera view to cinematic view, the C key is only for road vehicles, it wont work on the train.

The R32 in the R38 subway cars are different from each other I can tell by the corrugations on the side panels of those trains and that's not all. The R38 has a red badge that says New York City Transit Authority.

@@Astrochorius, the R32 subway cars have a lot of corrugation lines, the R38 subway cars have corrugation lines on the half part of the train. The interior part, looks a little different like this a pole on both the front and back of the car where the seats are. The R32 was made by Budd company, and the R38 was made by St. Louis car company.

Yes. Explosions are seen in here due to a mod I put in that adds realistic damage to the vehicles, but of course the AI has a habit of getting into accidents that cause the engines to instantly catch fire and the vehicle soon begins to go up in flames and thus. Makes the car explode and since other AI's don't learn from their mistakes or learn from what they see or are aware of and try to avoid the accident, they dive engine first into it and cause a chain reaction of explosions to happen, and that is what you see before you in the video.

I'm afraid that this R38 mod is not for download as it was a custom skin that was modified by me to be as a Pre-GOH like skin but i can however give you the original R38 skin that was made by its original creator.
