Recently I actually went outside the front door in the high roller outfit like the game suggests (with a random and no voice communication). Basically getting out takes a little bit longer maybe, but if you don't pull out your guns and aim at the noose or try to steal a vehicle in their sights, you can easily run across the highway to steal a car and drive to the helipad undetected. Me and the random did just that, didn't even loose 1$, escaped in the helicopter and completed the elite challange in 14 minutes and 33 seconds. May not have done it that fast though if we went with anything besides the gruppe sechs entry.

I've never gotten the elite challenge. I've gotten close, but after two times the helicopter didn't spawn, me and my crew decided that we'll just take the sewer everytime. Especially since nearly everytime doing it this way we get away flawlessly with no cash lost.
