All guns should have a Mk 2 variant of some sort. Its a decent gun but will still get outshined by faster firing ones like the Bullpup and Special Carbine Mk2 variants in pvp scenarios. It should not be behind a paywall. Its only $8 but still... For pvp (and lets be honest thats what matters most to people in this game) the Special Carbine and Bullpup Mk2 variants still get the nod imo.

Though I can see the stats, the Military Rifle still feels the best to me. It handles the best and has quite a good stopping power. Every other weapon either feel slow or not powerful enough. El Strickler seems to be nice new addition. I am quite enthused to give it a shot.

I’ve used the strickler in a few missions now but it felt less accurate and the fire rate felt slow compared to the service carbine. Also 45 mag vs 60 mag is not great. On top of that, the gold looks tacky to me. I’ll stick to my service carbine for now.

I definitely like it and will be using it for the next month or two but from the stats, it's basically just a normal Military Rifle with a better DPS and higher lock-on range. It was one of the many reason I finally bought GTA+ for the first time but I know after a while, I'll still go back to the Carbine Rifle MKII.

It’s really just a Military Rifle with an exclusive skin and cannot be modified with different attachments. It’s a 50/50 if it’s really worth it, but it is FREE with GTA+ so that’s better than paying an entire Acid Lab payout for it.

Gta plus isn't needed at all for rockstar. They were doing just fine with shark cards. He'll, the base game game before online even came out made over a billion in its 1st week. But if they really want to keep pushing it then I would rather it just be stat boosts. Such as increased payouts for bussiness and gta cash every month. It's ok. Combat MG is better in every way shape or form. Although in PvP assault rifles outclass it if they aim for the head, but looking at the state of PvP in GTA today, the chances of you running into someone not using glitches or an RPG is slim to none.

Should of made it mk2. The more things that subtly keep getting added to gta plus, the more i keep thinking they are just conditioning us to the aggregious benefits it will provide when gta 6 comes around. The fall back line will be "well its been in gta online for years now" or something similar. With this kind of stuff and all the news of the main people that crafted the masterpieces that the previous games have been that are now gone or were forced to retire. Also the DEI and new 'unconsious bias' courses that the white employees have been forced to take, has me worried for the future of gta as a franchise. Rockstar has always been crude and funny and made fun of everyone and everything but are now being told they can't "punch down" anymore, really has me thinking we are in for a watered down apologetic version of what we are used to. I pray that i am wrong though. Ive played every game since gta 3 and i hope they never change.
