I think that's the key to what bothers me about some things. It's totally fine to miss stuff, not understand things, and just not be great at a game (or at life). That's just being human. Planes brake in the wheels. There are plane engines that can reverse once on the ground, and there are such things as "air brakes" on jets, but typically the brakes of the landing gear are more than enough to stop a plane. A plane with a failed engine can still brake once on the ground

The snow is there because Nick hasn't quit GTAV since he last played during the Xmas period! Xbox Series consoles have Quick Resume, which persists even when the console is completely unplugged. The game is using the tunables file it already downloaded weeks ago instead of downloading a new one on launch. This can be fixed by pressing Start/Menu on the GTAV/GTAOnline game tile and choosing QUIT and relaunching the game. You can also use this to your advantage to keep snow far longer than normal. (I had it until February one year - just never quit the game) This is probably the first troubleshooting step you should always do when GTA Online isn't showing new cars for sale or new jobs to play. Rockstar update the tunables file every Thursday. Edit: Ah, they talk about the snow persisting around 24:00. To answer the point about Quick Resume, the way the Xbox consoles do QR is they dump the entirety of the game's active memory from RAM to the SSD. On resuming it just copies it back into RAM, allowing it to pick up like you never left it at all (mostly, some games are quirky especially with networking). The number of games you can have in Quick Resume is dependent on how much SSD space you have left and how much RAM that particular game requires. Something like Peggle would last ages.

Quick resume doesn’t cancel out even if you unplug the console cause it saves the state to the ssd which is why there’s a limit. Although the limit is the space reserved rather than number of games.

Frontflip, Backflip. Outside Loop is via nose pointing down. Inside loop is via nose pointing up.

I'm seeing a lot of frustration in the comments and because I'm a keyboard warrior, I feel the need to provide an empathetic angle. People need to show a bit of respect and understanding for blind spots. Aside from reading and watching tutorials, you can tell just by watching that Nick doesn't understand the physics of the plane. He's played enough video games, it's not like his goddamn fingers are flailing all over and his neurons are failing to fire. Nick needs to understand at a core level that a plane in GTAV, like in real life, is constantly trying to crash into the ground. However, it's a video game and lots of games people have played that involve flying will just remove physics from the equation for an easier flight experience. So it's really feasible to just not have that click. By applying throttle you gain enough thrust to move the big ass metal body of a plane along air currents. If you point the nose downward, while applying thrust, you are now applying force *and* mass, in that direction and so you will lose velocity much faster than if you pointed the nose down and didn't accelerate. The fact that people can fly those kinds of jets at all irl is terrifying and cool. It's pretty wild man. When I am on a plane, I marvel at the whole situation 'cause like, it feels sufficiently advanced enough to just be magic. I have started to notice that some people don't think about things in mechanical/physical ways. I have actively asked friends about this stuff because I have an alien's curiosity about what makes people tick. A lot of people, if they clean shaved their head, would not know why they suddenly feel much colder these days, or they eat way too much food and they think the reason they're tired is because of something in the food they ate and not the fact that they have a furnace inside them that is working overtime. I took the minimal allotment of sciences in high school, so it's not like I'm talking some wizardly genius stuff. People just have different things that occupy their attention. Smart people can just have things that they don't know, or even care about and that's fine. We all have blind spots. Now, to weaponize that blind spot in the form of a tragic and ridiculous GTA video filmed entirely in a whiteout... that takes gumption!
