GTA Online Top 10 Vehicles That Should Be Buffed

This was a video I wanted to make for some time. These are vehicles that I personally believe are underpowered and deserve a buff. I do not think that buffing any of these vehicles would break anything in the game. The problem in GTA Online is that in terms of PVP combat 95% of it is involving an oppressor mark 2 even if one guy isn’t using it someone else is. These vehicles have potential and some of them are really expensive yet are very underpowered. Are there any other vehicles that I missed?

You could nerf the MKII but the real issue is the fact that homing missiles lock onto any vehicle occupied by a player except night club sell vehicles, which just so happen to be the ones that typically kill MKII Oppressors

@@lukesterdaboyo6759 that's... Kinda the problem... A counter is something that is completely different that can defend you from and attack and turn it on the offensive... If someone is trying to punch you you don't try to punch their fist or try to hit them faster then what they are hitting you... You either Dodge it and hit them, block it and attack while they are off guard, or turn their attacks back on them and have them beat themselves up... You can't just punch a punch and expect it to just work... You need different things to counter other things sometimes because sometimes something is so matched that they just cancel each other out.

The griefers who don't bother grinding, and just pay for the game 10+-times over to buy the latest griefing toy with Shark Cards is the king in Rockstars' eyes. That is always who they will listen to first. Grinders actually hurt their bottom line, even if you don't buy GTA6, the "kids" who will buy it and 20 shark cards will more-than make up for the lost grinder, because (If this week while the kids were out of school is any indication) there are more of them than us.

@@ecxense Actually, Smugglers Run's fighter jets have very powerful machine guns, and can potentially destroy the big planes like the Volatol in seconds due to the strength of the cannons, also, homing off missiles are a good alternative, as long as you're a good pilot. If you are not a good pilot, the Lazer and Hydra meme cannons will absolutely decimate them due to the extreme firepower. If you are on the ground and you see a Volatol or Bombushka attacking you by using bombs, you could use the same technique when dealing with a dive-bombing Lazer or Hydra and shoot an RPG rocket with good timing and angle and blow it out of the sky.

Idea to improve the Technical, #8: Use a specific mod shop, similar to Benny's, where players can modify civilian vehicles for combat. Think adding armor plating, reinforced engine block, brush bars, bullet-resistant glass, hood-fixed driver controlled guns or top-mounted passenger controlled guns, etc. The added weight reduces performance but increases durability. Imo, this fits the theme of GTA much better than military vehicles accessed through cell phone.

Agreed. At LEAST 2-3 RPG for vigilante. What is their problem? Vigilante has boost and weapon, so to them it should take no damage. Nightshark costs 3x more than trade-in kuruma and has decorative armor instead of BETTER armor than kuruma which it should. And on and on. It's ridiculous how you need a OMK2 and kuruma for everything with almost no other options. Why have a game with dozens of vehicles if only a few are actually functional or even stack up against the obnoxious auto-aim god-accuracy NPCs?

I really feel the Savage and Cargobob also need upgrade options when converted to personal vehicles - nothing crazy like extra weapons, but just equivalent armor and performance upgrades as well as countermeasures that nearly all other Warstock air vehicles can receive. Another vehicle that needs stock buffs and the ability to be made a personal vehicle - the Rhino. Performance and Armor upgrades and the ability to spawn it like other personal vehicles would actually make it viable to use in multiplayer. Let's be honest, though - I really just want to be able to summon it to physically bash other vehicles around with the huge gun.

Great vid. One of my thoughts about a buff however doesn't concern a vehicle, but rather a weapon. They should make it possible to upgrade the homing launcher and make it a mk2 weapon, with tracking that is on par with deluxo/ruiner missiles.

The weird thing about the Molotov is that in game it is super slow and it’s cannons are pretty week. This is 100% different from it’s real life counterpart. It’s real life counterpart was the fastest jet in it’s time and the cannons were extremely powerful, having a 20 mm and a 40 mm which could take out other jets in as little as one hit.

Cobra3111 bro they should’ve never added vehicle icons in the first place. I missed 2013-2014 where u had the element of surprise because everyone was a dot no matter what vehicle u were in. Someone turns a corner to kill u, then they see u in a fucking rhino lmao. Now shit like the oppressor, deluxo, sromberg, and ruiner I can understand having special icons, but stuff like the insurgent, helicopters, planes, tanks, and other turreted land vehicles shouldn’t have icons because it’s pointless, u can literally tell what they’re using by listening to the distinct vehicle sounds they make and seeing how fast their dot is moving across the map. The only way to conceal what vehicle ur in nowadays is to get a bounty put on u so ur just a bounty dot, but that’s uncommon and ppl will just have even more of a hard on to kill u then.

Thoughts on each entry: 10: Technical Aqua/Custom I feel they should make an aqua custom technical that's more of a hit & run vehicle, whilst the regular custom should just be given better armor and maybe an alternate turret. 9: Annihilator I'm sad that the police don't use this in GTA V. Thats exactly one of the main reasons why I didnt buy it in Gunrunning. I have an APC, why can't I attach it to that?! Imagine how awesome that would have been to have the SAM and flak guns firing at the same OP Mk2. And the SAM battery on the APC should have essentially two firing modes: unguided spam firing and slow-firing guided. Also display how much ammo you have left.

Weaponized Tampa deserves the biggest buff #1 Armor: The Armor is very useless, it gets blown up with any explosive besides the explosive sniper, its not bullet protection, literary anyone can shoot you out. They should buff it by giving it MOC windows which can still be destroyed but stronger bullet protection, make the back completely bullet protection and make it Duke O Death Armor since it takes 9 homing missiles and 2-4 RPG's. #2 Missile lock on: The missiles are very useless unless you are fighting in close range combat. If you were to fire at a long range distance the missiles would just fly up and miss the target. (Maybe useful against jets but very rare for that to happen) If they are making us pay 3 Million (It is 3 Million because you also have to upgrade the Vehicle.) for the car, then buff it. The way they should fix this problem is by giving them lock on with Standard Tracking missiles as they are not OP but has Standard tracking missiles like the B-11 but just slightly better. #3 Lower price when adding Weapons to it: It is overprice when you add proximity mines for almost $1,500,000, and your gonna be spending 1 Million extra on the car? Lower the price at least 300K or lower on the car , you'd have to grind very hard. #4 Small Feature buffs: Give it more mortars because you can run out very quickly, make the Dual Mini-guns stronger than or strong as the Stromberg's machine guns. Make it so you can have a second person like the Rouge to control the Mortars and Proximity mines and make it have a better wheelie and lock on to the Fully Loaded Ruiner 2000 as it can be a Semi-counter to it. And make the Fixed Minigun rotatable because its useless. You literary cannot use it till you get Dual Miniguns. Please fix the vehicle R*, I really love this vehicle get a buff, it has a lot of potential to a Bad vehicle to a decent vehicle.

In defense of the Volatol and the Bombushka, planes like them are only used when you have total air superiority and/or are escorted by fighter nets. If you don’t have either, then it’s not really surprising that they would get eaten up by fighter jets or surface to air weapons

The Rhino deserves to have some of its armour back. Nowadays, that thing blows up if too many soldier trucks squarm their way under your treads on the bunker supply mission. With so many options nowadays to destroy vehicles, and with several other armoured vehicles to compete, the Rhino's flimsiness is no longer needed to balance gameplay in PVP.

For me the scramjet is an amazing counter to the oppressor mk2. If you launch a missile 9 times out of ten it will kill it. The only problem is it’s armor can only take 1 explosive. But once you get better with it you can destroy oppressors very consistently.

Here are some counters for people who need advice about going against OP MK2s. Minigun: This is my go to weapon when dealing with them because the best way to deal with an oppressor is to keep from having an easy target. If you see one approaching you while you're in a vehicle, JUMP OUT. If it's cargo try to find a safe spot somewhere close( under a bridge,in an alley, any type of cover) then pull out your minigun and let it ride . When on the ground you are a harder target and the time they take to keep turning around to blow you up will allow you enough time to kill them . The fire rate is nice and even if you can't stay on target it will give them more pressure to be accurate. Stick bombs: When they keep trying to dive bomb you, time the throw right and you can very easily blow them up . Pump shotgun explosive ammo: Very effective if they get close enough it's pretty much a guaranteed kill because of the explosive radius which will either instant kill them or at least knock them off so you can take them out execution style. Up N Atomizer: I find this one hard personally but if you are an expert with this gun you won't have a problem knocking them off and seeing MK2s will start to become a joke to you . Scramjet: Not the absolute best method BUT the jump ability + boost make it pretty hard to hit if it has a good driver. Plus the rockets are extremely accurate. I've had some really cool matrix like encounters with MK2s due to the jump ability so if you're just trying to have some fun while destroying trolls I suggest this one . Nightshark and insurgents: Buy one of these vehicles if you don't really want to fight anyone . I believe they can tank the entire clip of rockets the MK2 has per spawn . And finally the MK2: You can save up purchase a nightclub and terrorbyte, upgrade yours and try not to let the power of locking on to a helpless level 8 in a pedestrian minivan get to your head . You would become the very thing you sought to destroy !!!!

An add on to the defense part (Nightshark and Insurgents). Get an MOC, and use the truck itself. For some reason it can tank up to 60 MK2 rockets. In other words, three MK2s are needed to destroy the truck. Unless Cockstar patched it and made it wack, like all the vehicles in the game in comparison to the mechanical broomstick.

I think that the vigilante needs a buff aswell, it's a freking bat mobile yet it takes only one hauming missile to blow it up, and the worst part of it is that the missiles are placed so low to the front bumper that if the road surface is a bit inclined you'll end up by blowing yourself up, and it happens a lot especially during heists :(

If an object is heavy enough to where the gravitational force is higher then the buoyant force, you need to add more water displacement. (Of course without messing up it’s stability)
