I agree, the Rhino tank was really OP back in the day. I feel like they nerfed it too hard, as in health. The APC has more health then a rhino tank which doesn't make sense , they should raise the Rhino tank a bit and lower APCs rocket resistance / explosive bullet .

Personally, I find the Hydra to still be really good, especially against the mk2. Why? Because you can fly in circles until they run out of missiles then you destroy them with your own. Even better now. Because of the cool down on the mk2 you don't even have to destroy them after they run out of missiles because you can just fly away. They cant spawn another one with full missiles right away.

Unfortunately the rockets are infinitly accurate. You just can't dodge any missiles. Only way to stop them is a building or the terrain, wich is very risky cause of lag.

The MKII could be balanced if changes to all homing missiles were made. Players shouldn't be charged or get bad sport for destroying another players vehicle, & homing missiles should only lock onto it when it is: -equipped with explosive resistant armor, bullet proof windows, and/or weapons -occupied by a player that has a bounty -occupied by a player that is participating in a PVP based free mode event -occupied by a player that has recently attacked you, anyone in your organization or business assets -being driven by an mugger -spawned in an invite only, friend only or crew only session

I remember before the heist DLC everything was peaceful, the only way to grind money was Missions and what everyone did before is just level up and go around with their customized Zentornos, throwing C4 around and others with tanks that were more rare and unefficient against me and my friends who each one of us placed 5 C4s on the ground to activate them at the same time. Good times... Now I went to PC a year ago, lost all my ps4 friends and here it is, try hards and few modders.

The hydra/lazer is quite effective against op mk 2 and if they get off and try to shoot you with explosive sniper you just fly up to sky limit or hide behind a building/hill/mountain and it can also outrun the ruiner style missiles it has explosive cannons too along with missiles and here’s a good tactic when your flying in circles and the op mk is in your sight the fire and it will catch him off guard causing his death

I didn't start playing GTA online until around March 2020, and this is the first time I've heard of Hydra griefers. Unfortunately I too have the occasional run-in with a griefer, but I never see them using Hyrdas. I also get very annoyed with these idiots.

The Rhino Tank was also OP because missles/weaponized vehicles couldn't lock-on to the tank. In addition, the Rhino's canon was severely nerfed by making it slower, shortening the firing distance, reduced the splash damage range, and even making the shell/bullet slimmer, requiring more accuracy. The Rhino at it's prime even stomped the Lazer in an open field as the lazer was much worse originally as it's firing distance/range was so short that people in Lazers could barely get a hit in before crashing into the ground.

Remember when tanks used to overpowered back in 2013? In 2015 Hydra was overpowered. In 2017 opressor mk1 was overpowered In December 2017 deluxo was overpowered.

The oppressor mark 2, the strongberg and the Ruiner all seem to be pretty good counters for the oppressor mark 2. I just now started learning the game and these vehicles seem to be able to handle it pretty well.

i think Rockstar needs to bring out a counter for the Oppressor mk2 but at the same time make the counter not overpowered and maybe give it maybe a counter or a flaw

The Deluxo does stand a chance against Oppressor Mk IIs. If you start spinning/spiraling the Deluxo while flying, it'll completely throw off Oppressor Mk II missile targeting. Coupled with the fact that most griefers won't use countermeasures anyway, and the Deluxo's really an effective counter.

5> Rhino Tank.., there used to be a glitch with the Heavy Sniper, where you can shoot out the driver.., some saw it as realistic, cause.., Anti Tank Rifle.., but it was unintentionall.., so patched.., it was very easy to avoid for experienced players.., any dot on the map that was moving slow was a possible tank.., anyone in certain locations or running to certain locations.., Is a Tank.., (will edit as i watch..,) everything is is bang on, so thats all ill say..,

I loved the Hydra. I remember it from San Andreas and when I saw it again when heists released, i got excited and grinded the hell out of contact missions for that 3 mil lol. But i hate that it was hated. I was worried that r* would make it not fun to fly anymore, but i mean i swear it's more sluggish now than it was before gunrunning and smugglers run but I still use it. At some point i also learned its real life counterpart can do short take offs i was all hey... Smh but like who cares about it's low acceleration; i can get around that.

There are 5 kinds of Missiles: Barrage Missiles Homing Off Missiles Homing Missiles Ruiner Missiles Ruiner 2000 Missiles The weaponized cars like Deluxo, Stromberg, Vigilante, Scramjet have Ruiner Missiles but the Ruiner 2000 has Ruiner 2000 Missiles. The difference is that the Ruiner 2000 Missiles have better tracking and the Countermeasures are useless against them.

The oppressor mk2 is a pretty cool vehicle in gta along with any other military vehicle the only bad thing about having such overpowered things in a free roam game is the tryhards and griefers
