My question is more so: How not to get fucked in an Oppressor MKII, I swear no matter how well I think I time the countermeasures I still get blown up, now THAT'S no room for error

@@connflicts there's a few and it all depends on your skill level and whether you have friends or not. For example the Insurgent PUC is good at taking damage and it has a mounted machine gun that a passanger can use, they're good at countering OppMK2. Then you got the submarine, even though it's missiles suck it can still take a lot of damage before blowing up and also you can just dive deep underwater where the OppMK2's missiles can't get to you. Speaking of submersible vehicles the Toreador and the Stromberg are both really good at taking damage and delivering it too since they both can fire missiles, and if worse comes to worse you can always dive deep underwater to avoid getting hit by the missiles. If you're really good at flying, any jet can be used to counter the OppMK2. There's also a few armored vehicles that can take a lot of damage, like the Nightshark and the MOC, but they don't really have any useful weapons of their own, so you're going to have to get lucky and kill the OppMK2 with drive-by weapons. Speaking of drive-by weapons, the flare gun is a highly effective weapon to use to counter the missiles of the OppMK2, or any missile really, you just have to time it perfectly when you fire the flare and the missile will follow it. Explosive sniper rifle is also a good way to counter the OppMK2 when you're on foot, heck even the regular heavy sniper is good you just have to be good with it. Basically any vehicle that can take a lot of damage before blowing up is good at countering the OppMK2 but the best way to counter them is to fight fire with fire, with an OppMK2 of your own. Those are just a few ways to counter the OppMK2, there's more but those are just my tips.

Finally someone gives it credit. I've been using this car since it was added, and I can easily takedown all the average plane and MK 2 users. And, unlike with the MK2, you can actually enjoy driving the scramjet. With some smart movement you can even take down tanks. + it's great for learning how to control cars in the air.

Some extra tips when using the Scramjet: It's jump boost range is around 450m. It's jump height is enough to climb small buildings around, like the Arcade or some stores. Be careful when short boosting. You don't want to land close to your target. That can, and probably will kill you if you miss, especially if you don't struck the landing properly. The Scramjet is famously called a water magnet, but most water landings happen by mistake. Aim for the road and you will land on it most of the times

Also because you can use drive bys, if you see mk2 flying and you react quickly, you can use the flare gun to get rid of missiles. You are kinda screwed though if the mk2 missile spams.

The Scramjet is probably the most skill-based vehicle in the game. The amount of accuracy and precision to launch into the air, point downwards and take out a target on foot, then find the perfect position to land without blowing up in a matter of seconds really shows how skilled Scramjet drivers are.

If you have no friend, create a deathmatch, put a respawnable scramjet at your spawn and use npcs with homing missiles or railgun to train(just test it)

Truth be told, never knew about the handbrake working in mid air. Been play since 360 ans never knew that. Also I never really thought about buying a scramjet mainly because it can't be used in heist which is odd because the missles would be great. I might try to win it off the wheel today

I mostly use it to kill flying targets especialy Depressors. Just go somewhere high and target in his direction where he comes from and then wait till it locks on him and then pew. The lock is so good especialy when you are high ground or when you look up.

There is a trick on scramjet while u are in the air, click character selection then choose Franklin it will say Accept or Decline click Decline then ur scramjet will stop in the air but it will fall down sometimes it will work but you have to do it faster.

@@Gs-ft8mb For me my old Hydra is the best. I have every headhunter npc location memorized so I can quickly strafe them with my explosive cannons. I typically finish between 2-5 minutes depending on which locations I get. My least favorite is the northeast guy who spawns inside of a building at a train yard. But I found that if you hover at a certain spot you can fit a missile between the corner of the entrance and the train car. That shot feels good to get.

ATTENTION it pretty easy to shoot out of the air because it cant deviate from the course its on while airborne. It can turn and flip but it stays the same path.Opmk1 at least can glide and change trajectory.

The missiles aren't Ruiner 2000 tier missiles but they're aren't far off they're a little bit less accurate even though they're top tier and slower.
