In that “Just Business” mission, Big Smoke tries to get the Russian mafia to murder CJ, so that it’ll be easier to kill Sweet and take over the Grove Street families, but it backfires and the mafia starts shooting at both Smoke and CJ. So that’s what that mission is about.

In the early production of GTA:San Andreas, Ryder was not supposed to become a villain, only Smoke was going to turn on the gang, that is why most of the dialogue that features both Smoke and Ryder only references Smoke.

@BeTheDeathOfMe The voice actor for Ryder, MC Eiht left sometime during development due to disputes over something I have no idea about. He'd later make a voice appearance in GTA V.

I never understood why Wrong side of the tracks is considered the hardest/worst mission in the game. The key to success is not to fall off the bike and hold close to the train engine. I have managed beat it from second try during my first playtrough of San Andreas. Zero's missions on the other hand (the ones where you need to fly toy planes and helicopters with shitty controls) were WAY WORSE.
