Its about the fact that GTA V uses a real time gpu whereas GTA San Andreas just got a small graphic update and not detail or physics update. GTA SA og was actually awesome compared to definitive edition. The new water refractive color is hideous and makes it look cartoonish, the forests and skies miss their mist and fog, the water lost its color and the characters look funny

I'm starting to wonder if peoples monitor/TV quality is the issue. My tvs like 6 years old at least and my games still look the same as back in the day with better graphics obviously. But then like when I watch tv or a movie on a nicer TV it all looks fake. Like you can tell its all cgi and green and blah blah blah. A note on the clouds - you have to play on a higher graphic setting on PC to see realistic volumetric clouds. Ultra settings look impressive, even better than 5 in some details.

Actually, the vegetation in the Definitive Edition does interact with the player, almost every plant, tree and even the grass but the thing is that is really subtle and even when you are looking at it really closely it's hard to see which makes the vegetation seem dead during normal gameplay which is sad because it's there...

This is a comparison between a 17-year-old remastered game vs an 8 year old game and one was built on a very limited game engine to work on ps2 and Xbox and the other was is built on a modified version of the rockstar Rage engine that was used in gta 4 that was really good very realistic and great graphics and physics gta v was made to work on ps3 and Xbox 360s and yet it still looks good on those consuls gta v would win even on the first gen game on a Xbox 360 or ps3 if rockstar wasn’t lazy handed The remaster project to an Random gaming company .and instead of using there rage engine they used a game engine that’s most popular in Fortnite if rockstar wasn’t so lazy we would have gotten a better definition Edition and this would be closer

I think, if you say "remaster" then the game is basically giving a new look but keeping the feeling of the original San Andreas. The thing is, the original developer was too lazy to develop the expected remaster so they hired a gaming company which also ruined the 10 year anniversary remaster of the same game.

Even to this day, gta 5 still a legendary game. Gta 5's graphics, physics, gameplay, environment, details, even the little bits of details, etc. If you think about it, gta has got everything! It's just normal to be the top dog of gaming industry.
