Lemme be really honest. I love how it looks like all they did was just upscale Los Santos while providing a pinch of shows of what new tech can do. I know it IS the same city but I didn't expect it to look SO damn similar!!! A lovely video as always though Enxgma!!!

Even though they both have their differences, both renditions of Los Santos are at it's core very similar. They're both based off of Los Angeles after all. Amazing video! Can you do one with the Liberty City map comparison between GTA 3 and 4 next? EDIT: Between these two, I prefer GTA 5's rendition of LS because of how much it heavily resembles LA, both in terms of scope, atmosphere, and crowd.

But V's los santos is still very accurate to real life and very stunning, especially at night. But SA's Los Santos has that gang land feeling which was missing in V imo, with a very tiny ghetto.

@@arushamm I was talking specifically about LS. I totally agree that V's rural areas are empty and boring and are nothing compared to SA's. The countryside and desert in that game scream good childhood memories, while V's are a big pile of nothing. About gang turfs though, I don't miss large gang areas in V, because street gangs are not quite the theme of the game, at all. SA had lots of gang areas because it's literally a game about gang violence and the protagonist is very involved with his gang, unlike Franklin, who was a gangster but did everything he could to make it big and get a good Vinewood life. And about said missing landmark, I'm not even North-American, so I have no cue on which one you're talking about.

Editing, transitions, timing, characters movements frame by frame everything was right on spot. Perfect. But almost every shot for gta5 was in clear weather daylight while for sanandreas you used warmer reddish hotter weather conditions. Appreciate the effort you put by the way.

Rockstar could add a few more things like San Andreas, but it would made everyone storage full. That's why we got less mechanics, more graphic = heavy. Making 3 city and 1 desert as San Andreas would be impossible to load it propely. I hope GTA 6 gets somes impressives things to do (after history mode).

Great comparison. One mistake though, in 2:27 that's Rockford City Hall in GTA V, there is also Los Santos City Hall, which is the same as GTA SA's City Hall.

As a player that has spent A LOT of time in both games, I cannot quite compare them, I think they're two different cities with shared elements, not two versions of the same city, if that makes any sense.
