I'm 100% completing the San Andreas remaster right now so I can myth hunt in that game. I have to say, I don't think most myth hunters put enough stock in what day of the week it is in-game when they conduct their investigation, especially if they are attempting to re-emulate an experience they had at a previous point in time. They think that time of the day/night cycle or weather are the two main variables. The weekday is definitely a variable in some features of the game, such as the cars that are available on the import/export list. Myths could be one of the things affected by this variable. For example, it's always been said that it has to be a Friday night for CJ's mother's ghost to spawn in the Johnson house, she won't appear on any other night. I think this could apply to the newer GTA games as well.

to be honest, every tree in the game is weird, i remember being freaked out by seeing a few tall trees wobble around...but i think it's programmed to be that way lol

I always thought the trees in San Andreas were spooky. They're so massive when you're up close on foot.

Nice video, I have a feeling that what happen in that video was the data to make the trees sway got corrupted or injected with a very high negative number and caused the trees to do that. The cause for that bad data could have been caused by the trainer added a value to the sway at the same the game added a value and instead of only choosing one value it added both up made an overflow, for example, the game add a value of 2 on sway was going to add 2, but the trainer added a value of 8, this will make the value go to 12 but the code forces only a maximum value of 10 and only has a check to see if the value is at 10, but because it went to 12 the game went into overflow and the value could have become something like -127. Another cause could have been the game tried to add 2, but or a file on the game, or the trainer, was corrupted or Windows made a SNAFU and instead of just been added 2 to that value it added a lot more creating that monstrosity.

I remember seeing one video of the andromeda that rarely spawns flying above the player when you walk outside a building, and the player shot it down with a jet or destroy all vehicles cheat. Since it wasn’t supposed to be “destroyed” by the player, it started glitching like crazy. It kept spinning and spinning doing slow loops in the air going underwater then starting doing the stretchy tether glitch the trees you showed were doing. I can’t remember who made the video or if it was modded, but it was hilarious watching the plane go nuts

Haven't finished the video yet, but it seems like he just used a Mod Menu and turned the Weather type into the negative digits. It happened to me on PS2 and PS3 when I did that.

to me, this looks like a 60fps glitch. unpatched san andreas has issues like this when running at frame rates higher than it was intended for.

I had similar situation with trees, but not in that place. It was near blueberry and idk why, couple of trees spawned horizontally, wind caused similar situation to showed on video. I believe it's true. But I have highly modded version of game, with graphics enhancers, new textures and dev script for Stars and Stripes, so maybe it has some influents

Can confirm that weather will cause such things. There's over 2000 weather ID's in GTA San Andreas for some reason and I've seen a lot of them cause this. There's one ID that causes trees to completely dissappear.

Game can be weird sometime. like how some game make you fling even though it shouldn't be possible. I play Genshin and one time the boss fling me to oblivion. or how pokemon game got speedrun bug that somehow involve spinning in same place with masterball. My theory is the animation suppose to effect the leave decal only but somehow affect all of it.

i have seen many gta sa videos on youtube where they use trainers to change gravity field and weather to maximum wind or something like that to make these trees goes crazy. you can find youtube videos like nikitozz or real kevin who uses trainer to make gta sa content. that dude who trying to make us believe that this tree glitch is another mysterious event who uses trainer and change something like i don't know changing gravity field and weather wind to maximum.This has to be fake. There is nothing like that man. but anyway thanks for covering it up. keep hunting😚

if I remember correctly, when I was playing SA:MP in the past, I saw a weather preset that made the trees have the wacky physics, so it's most likely that the trainer has that such weird weather preset

Hey guys , I do not know about trees but Yes , In PS2 Version ... Once i saw people screaming and falling from sky maybe from trees at midnight in front of Shady's Cabin and they die there ! And i have also seen that bald naked hilly billy falling from sky and ran into the Shady Cabin and when i followed him inside the Cabin , He disappered ! DarkMythHunter should definitely check these events that happens in every 3-4th midnight ! Are these people Ghosts ?
