Back in the golden era of KZbin GTA SA Bigfoot was very popular. So popular that someone made a mod where you start out in the LS storm drain with every weapon in the game next to you as a pickup and several vehicles and you had to go to the shack in the woods and meet this old guy who's name began with D. He then gives you the task of killing 4 Bigfoots and at the end your given a bonus where you hunt a yeti in the mountain. Good times.

About the ghost in the swamp in rdr2, there is a conversation in camp at shady bell where reverand Swanson tells people he saw a ghost in the swamps. Everyone just tells him he’s hallucinating

I believe RDR 1 Undead Nightmare is actually John Marston stuck in a form of Limbo maybe since he was headed to hell for everything he did with Dutch but since he had his Redemption things changed he got a final chance from God that's why The Strange Man Taunts him because he was so close to owning his soul! That's how Undead Nightmare could be canon just my personal theory I have beat almost every Rockstar game a few times RDR 1 I beat 3 times and GTA 5 I've beat 6 times with 2 being 100% playthroughs so I do got a good grip on how Rockstar Does things! Would also be funny to find out that the aliens literally come from a Rock that's a Star lol jp

@Mr. Fan Man Seeing as they did the treasure hunt in GTAO for the double action revolver, which will be unlocked in RDR2, I'd probably say same universe. Not to mention all the other references, like the Red Dead book written by J Marston, or the Red Dead NPC who looks extremely similar to Michael. Seems like Rockstar is drawing that conclusion, in my opinion.

Most things were easy to clarify if folks would have used the tools for GTA SA back in the days. I was heavy into modding back then and I checked textures as well as model files and never find anything. So it was quite fun to watch all the people going crazy. But I like that R* implemented such ideas in later games. But I'm not quite sure if they did it for fun or getting rid of those rumors.

The closest thing to a 'ghost train' I have ever encountered in GTA SA was early in the game while on the first island, I hijacked a train that followed the same route as the one you were meant to follow with Big Smoke. Normally when you get close to the bridge, the train will apply its brakes and you stop before it. Somehow this one time, the game glitched and never applied the brakes and allowed me to clip through the barrier and keep driving through the next island. It wasn't anything special, but an interesting glitch for my then-young mind.
