If you're not applying to be an LEO, you don't have to spend hours learning them, that'd be fucking ridiculous. There's something about tasers I forget like they don't always work so that's why you see people frequently shoot multiple tasers into victims, especially if they're larger or like on a particularly strong hallucinogen or meth or something that makes them crack super-humans. So yeah just because you get shot doesn't mean you go down on the first one, HOWEVER police tasers are 100% different than civilian tasers.

Well traditionally speaking if a mule gets busted the cartel will be more likely to go after the runners' families than they are to go after the law enforcement who caught them. To them it's just the cost of doing business, and they really don't care if you go to jail, it's not like the people at the top ever will, too many lines of separation from top to bottom. For every one shipment that's taken down, like 100 pass through the cracks uninhibited if not even more than that.

TL;DR: A bolo is not a flag. A "Bolo" is inter-departmental, its a temporary thing that can be cleared by the department, and it is basically a notification for a cop to just stop this vehicle or report it in if you see it because they "suspect" it was involved in something. Its not formal. A "Flag" is a previous charge/crime in which that vehicle was involved, any unpaid tickets, expired registration/insurance or if any warrants for the registered owner. A flag COULD become a reason for a BOLO, but doesnt have to. So this vehicle will have a flag after today (for drug trafiking), but in the past if it was not formally involved in any crime, it would not have any flags on it. But it can still have a BOLO on it regardless.

Late on the ball here but I love how organised and concise everything is especially police side on these servers. It's such a success because of all the people dedicating time to make it work and even though it relies heavily on people following rules that can easily be broken everyone seems to play fairly most if not all of the time. I'll probably never play these role playing servers myself but they're always so much fun to watch.

I've never been a 'Rper' in any game but this makes me want to download the program and go into a server. Looks like a blast.. but servers max at 32 people so these videos make it look a lot more 'exciting' than it is. Appears to me that half the population want tobe and are cops.. so every other person you run across is a legit cop in game lol. I'd love 100+ people in a room.. with ATC or three.. and so on. I remember the FFXI I was into heavily (legit had a boeing 747 manual next to controls lol) and was in constant communication with the tower and other aircraft. This is similar. However, it is impressive the police codes used and how fluid they speak with dispatch and each other .. memorize the map, plates, codes, where they are, scenarios, create / improv scenarios on the fly. IE: Here it's basically make it up on the damn fly. Oh it's little balloons with heroin in it (Rita, if a decent rp'er, would go along with that discovery or correct them with no it's (insert drug) in the containers). Anyone have any tips on the RP here? Ie: Start out on a public XYZ server found here.. then maybe go apply to a more serious ABC server because there the benefit is (insert benefit(s)) .. and are there any larger servers (is it possible)? Also.. can you basically go jump in as a role (deputy, or even just civilian) and drive around and what happens happens? Not have to fabricate some situation as is oft seen in the vids?

You can search the players vehicle. You can also pick up weed from a distributor, like that plane guy, and sell it certain houses or npcs walking down the street. Small chance the npc will call the cops tho, lol.
