Lack of artistic sensibility. Just because GTA 3 is and looks wacky for today's gaming standards (even GTA SA, from the same console, is infinitely more elaborated) that becomes associated to a cartoony feel. And not only there's a lack of sensibility but there's a side of disrespect too. Like, GTA 3 is so obsolete compared to the modern GTAs that the product itself and its development ends up not treated seriously. But when it was made the devs were extremely serious about it. It was the state of the art of its genre at the time... but its just that those early standards were quickly surpassed through the ps2 era.

@@carlosaugusto9821 oh yes, the overall atmosphere and world interpretation goes woosh in those definitive editions; actually pointed exactly this out on my review on steam; i think its easier to activate nvidias instagram filters and fog can for sure be adjusted in configs; i am not patient enough to go into deep gta3 modding just to make it run not like garbage and/ or crash away because why not but even if they do not provide anything that we as the end consumer absolutely would have deserved after seeing that price tag on bare bones Mobile to PC Port with an AI upgrading graphics and take over 3/4 of total work; jesus there is so much bs that went off; point is: I am able to play those Games and experience the gameplay, the story and the secrets with modern System, modern Hardware, modern resolution with neat QoL additions at more than 24 fps since anything above that breaks the OG games in multiple ways besides physics f-ing up I actually did 100% GTA 3 and VC already a couple months ago, the existence of Steam Achievements is a huge relief although even this didn't work properly the first time

I have a friend that works in Ubisoft now (previously used to work in another studio) and he told me that all AAA and indie companies have adopted this new business model where they save time and costs related to extreme bug test and let the customers do it for free and by actually paying for the game. And based on their feedback they plug and fix the bugs. Prior to that they used to have dedicated time for these activities. Now you know why games are released with bugs. They do it on purpose.

Two years on. This video has convinced me two things: One, Piracy is more appealing right now to simply play the originals on a emulator. That's how awful this... Remaster... Is. It's good that they are still trying to fix this trilogy, but please somebody tell me why these games are so dark??? I have decent OLED screen and they are almost unplayable without contrast in- game adjustment. However after contrast correction the overall picture quality drops. I've never seen such fault in any game before and this is a huge problem in my opinion.

There's still a lot wrong but they DID fix some big fundamental issues over time. The animations being fixed is a HUGE deal. It's much easier now for mods to fill the gap. Sad that's what we need to do but if we want a good version of these games it's necessary.

3 is fine, sometimes in Vice City I get a glitch where the camera locks on the stunt jump and makes it so I can't do any of them, San Andreas the main thing I notice is in particular spots vehicles will constantly spawn on top of each other
