i had all this done before and my lightbar worked perfect, but all of a sudden it just stopped being bright and i dont know why. any help?

@@AnthonyLoveJr I figured out I had a setting in menyoo active that I forgot to turn off because I was playing with zombies it was night mode or something like that where it turns off every light in the game

One area people miss is in the Graphics settings, Post FX MUST be on Ultra (not high). The settings done here in the video prevent the lights from washing out the entire environment and your eyes at night. I've spent years playing LSPDFR and experimented with all the various graphics enhancements that have been out over that time. Most cause severe blooming effects that it makes it impossible to drive at night and looks cartoony (unrealistic). I've learned to keep my graphics simple. VisualV (sometimes with ReShade), Better ELS Reflections and the minor tweak to the visualsettings.dat file as in this video. In the last year I've used Visual Vanilla, NVE, SVE, QuantV, all with ReShade and those make things worse in my opinion. Graphics like audio is subjective and is more of a personal like vs a universal. Also I've seen the gun reticle disappear using certain graphics mods and that is really annoying. Your graphics card makes a big difference too. The more you push it's memory the more hotter it runs, the less stable it is and the more FPS you can lose. GTAV is NOT optimized for 2023 graphics cards, and really never was optimized for graphics beyond vanilla. Best advice is KISS (keep it simple stupid), and don't over think.

So what you want to do is take your visualsettings.dat from your raidence V folder and you want to open file location on fivem go to citizen>common>data and replace visual

so you can explain me the following: I want my lightbar to be bright especially during the day. But ofcourse when i install new visuals of try what you did in ur video the lights of my headlights and interior lights are also going fucking mad. Is there a way to avoid this? I just want a bright lightbar en grill but not all the other lights going crazy bright as hell.

Partly happens because of the model and your in game settings can affect it as well visual v might be something to look at now a days!

When I'm close and in my car its not bright but when I go further from my car its bright. How do I fix so it's bright when I'm close? I have Radiance V installed also.

Shady A i figured it out, my gta setting were set to low so i changed them to better graphics and they are brighter. it was just my gta settings

I'm not new to modding in GTAV, I know about the fix for dim lights. Only problem is, it didn't work for me this time! They're all so incredibly dim except the vanilla vehicles. I set my settings for day all the way up to 6000 and 1500, and nothing! Any ideas?

It could be a setting in the game if not check the line make sure for no spaces little things can mess it up if not Radiance V I’ll look into it tho

car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on 12000.00 car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on 6000.00 No spaces in the code. Both Shader quality and the other setting are on High

It won't work with me. Every time I change it it won't save. I'm editing it then saving it closing OpenIV and then I'm opening OpenIV and it reseted. Radiance won't work too.
