The thing I like about the Nightshark is you don't have a special icon on the mini-map like other vehicles. Plus I'm always solo so having vehicles that require a gunner don't work very well for me.

I personally think insurgent pickup custom will always be my favorite, as it can withstand a lot of explosives, and with a few friends you can have alot of fun! Not really into the new Menacer, maybe its stats will be better when it comes out i dont know, and nightshark only has the one set of weapons which personally for me is a problem plus I really like the proximity mines from insurgent, and the fact that asbin the video its unstoppable when it comes to (most) obstacles, though that is my opinion, and both nightshark and menacer have pros that do beat insurgent, It will always be my go to vehicle when choosing between these three vehicles! Awesome video SD1one!!

@@Jakef100f once again as I said above its my opinion, and others think differently, and I personally like the insurgent the best, and I did say (if I remember right) that the insurgent can get through MOST obstacles not all, plus the fact that it can have 9 people 4 of which can uae their own weapons, and 1 is one a 50 cal or mini gun, can be extremely useful in PvP situations, as long as you dont roll the truck, plus if ur being chased and you know how to place them right, the proximity mines are a very powerful asset, besides the fact that it can drive over cars does show quality because the lifted suspension shows that it can offroad very well (which it can except it is a little top heavy so you gotta be careful not to flip), it can drive over rocks, and with the eight know how can climb steep surfaces, amd drive over rocks, when other vehicles whether their from warstock or not can have alot of trouble because not all are lifted like the insurgent making offroading (and skipping traffic XD) alot harder, cuz once again insurgent can drive over many obstacles (like cars from the video, or rocks) tjats my opinion On it, and would love to testnout the menacer and nightshark myself, but money ib gta is always a problem xD, besides I usually have a friend or two online with me so the insurgeny is still super caluable to me. Once again this is MY OPINION, and everyone is welcome to their own opinion!

Nightshark is overall a good car to drive around, it looks nice, sounds nice, is fast and handles very good for a truck. The towing capability used to be bugged and I'm not sure if its fixed now - I was only able to hook the anti-aircraft trailer and not boat or other trailers that spawn in game while Insurgent was able to hook them all.

I leave the armor on heavy and me and my friend just play in free aim. He's forced to free aim on the back of my insurgant so might as well force the other players to free aim as well. Quite funny the menacer has small windows makes it harder for npcs to shoot those small side windows but instead of adding proximity mines why did they add the useless front mounted machine guns? The menacer is supposed to be a step up better than nightshark but rockstar refused to add proximity mines and instead gave it front mounted machine guns. Plus in the menacer, you can only use guns as driveby weapons but can't throw explosives? What the hell have you made rockstar 6:30 Bulletproof test!!!!! Love this!!!!!

IMO the insurgent is best for if you wanna retaliate and / or have friends to attack others with, also good for getting over obstacles very well, and the night shark seems good more for running away and light retaliation with the guns at the front. This video was very good at laying out non-biased information for all three vehicles.

I think the objective by Rockstar was to have people have a fairly large group together in online, and they'd have at least one of each of these to do whatever they're looking to do. They each serve a very specific purpose within groups for heists, wars, etc. The Insurgent is effectively the scouting vehicle of the group. It can do a decent amount of damage in a pinch, while it's emphasis is on being able to drive through/over most any terrain/obstacles when needed to, and holds the most people as well, again, making it the scout/insurgent of the group. The Menacer is clearly the one meant to do the big offensive attacks, being so heavy on the variety in high-powered weaponry, but not really bringing to much else to the situation. Typical of offensive types (people/machines/vehicles). Finally the Nightshark is blatantly meant as the primary defensive vehicle, as it's by the the most protective, heaviest armor of the group, and only seat four people, while having great agility and speed, allowing it to distract and outrun when need be. So they each effectively are exactly what their names imply, respectively. Very straightforward in the naming of them to indicate just this set of information on them. So again, I betcha this is the reasoning behind why Rockstar decided to not output a vehicle that was truly all-around, while trying to use this as a way to coax players into getting together in large groups to then use each vehicle together in a semi-tactical fashion. Oh, and of course, ya know, make that sweet extra cash from DLCs and all that unnecessary capitalistic shenanigans haha.

So, from what I've seen here, the Menacer attempts to be a mix between the Insurgent and the Nightshark, but fails to, being pretty worse than the both of them. As I said in a previous video (Thanks for pinning it ^^), Nightshark's performance makes it a great and versatile runaway vehicle, the lack of weaponry on the other hand makes it poor for combat. Insurgent Pickup is, still to me, the most versatile armored vehicle out there, it can defend itself running away due to the mines, can attack enemies with the mounted LMG (You can lean down by holding the button, X by default in PC to make you a harder objective as the gunner), has a good protection and the gunner will ignore explosive damage nearby, even if the explosion is right on him. I didn't know the vehicle could get a crew of 9, the 2 guys standing on the sides surprised me. At the end of the day, the Insurgent is a balanced vehicle, which you can use in almost any situations, it will provide an impressive protection and a decent fire power, as well as an awesome transport capabilities and ramming force. The Menacer is... Uhh... Looks more like a collection vehicle... You could've done a test on people surviving explosives inside the vehicle, I know the gunner of an Insurgent Pickup can stand explosives, but honestly, I don't know about the other 4 standing outside (2 at the back, 2 at the sides) as well as I don't know about the Menacer gunner. You also forgot to mention that you can actually shoot with your personal weapons inside Insurgents and Nightsharks, as long as the protection level is not at max, I do not own any of these, but I've seen from Bunker sales that you can shoot inside an Insurgent Pickup as long as the armor level on the windows ain't maxed, so I guess it applies same for Nightshark. You could've added a couple more vehicles which are simillar, like the Half-Truck (Is that it's name...? The AA vehicle?) As well as the truck added as part of the Doomsday DLC (Which I also forgot the name) Maybe even adding the Mule Custom and the truck (Pounder Custom? I've been long out of GTA V ;_;) included basically for nightclub sales. You could also have mentioned how could you spawn the vehicles in GTA O (Well, Menacer might not be possible... But uhh... For the others?) I hope you don't feel upset or anything like that, I'm mentioning all of this pretending to help, if you feel annoyed or something about it, let me know and I'll stop. Anyways, great video! You encouraged me to head for the Insurgent Custom even more, as soon as I return to GTA O, and stay away from the Menacer unless it gets buffed or I get rich enough to waste my money.

I'll almost always choose the Nightshark. It's compact and therefore not as easy to hit as the other two. It's the fastest. It's pretty nimble. And it withstands as much as the Insurgent. It might not be unstoppable, but since it's smaller and more nimble you can easily avoid most obstacles. I also think it's better to use the Nightshark because it can only carry 4 people. This might sound like a downside, but first of all: When do you ever need to carry more than 3 friends around? And secondly: If you split up into 2 or 3 vehicles whilst, I dunno, doing VIP work, or filling up warehouses, you can be way more efficient and in case you get blown up, your second or third driver can pick you up in their car or continue the mission. It's just way more efficient.

You forgot the civilian insurgent: Same performances as the pick up. Trades weapons for unrestricted acces to player loadout (including bombs and mines), and exelent protection from bullet on the back, to the point it can be used instead of a Kuruma in most missions as longs as you drive backward. You can also directly move toward a minigun wielding player while being RPG proof to shoot him with a pistol, as long as you dont expose your head (small window and sides). It is also fast, and the bullet protection makes you almost immune during chases while being able to drop bombs on your opponent with no real danger to crash into civilian cars (it will push the away), especiay usefull if you hit the brakes and throw bombs. One opressor is not enough to destroy it. and nothing stops you from repairing it when the opressor gets more missiles (or switch to MOC then call a fresh insurgent). Especially usefull when you catch him on the ground geting a new bike, while they have a very hard time trying to kill you with RPG, minigun or whatever else. Maybe the best all around vehicle when driving alone, more so than the pick up variant, and is also good with a friend or more (4 inside + 2 outside). It is basically a Nightshark on steroids.

I'd choose neither and get the Half-Track with Medium armour. Medium armour on Half Track: Driver can't be killed from the front or rear, only sides. Driver can use drive by weapons in a 360° angle. Takes 28 (or 26... can't exactly remember)homing rockets to destroy with a person inside.

SD1ONE barrage has always been OP Have a good driver, hold X (PS4) to duck whilst on guns and you can’t get shot off. Two gunners is OP. Have the rear modified to be the glass to cover the body and you’re all good, as for the driver? Never give the enemy your front, it’s easy af.

The Menacer had so much potential to be the Insurgent killer. With its sleek and cooler design, as well as rocket durability; just a few more tweaks could've rendered the Insurgent useless

Objectively the Insurgent is the best in this lineup and is one of if not the best combat focused vehicles in the game. Just to add to its features you can actually crouch behind the turret in an insurgent and the protective front plates will shield you from bullets. also that little hatch on the insurgent will also stop bullets. That is why I use Medium armor on mine which allows the driver to use driveby weapons but not grenades/throwables.

You and your passengers can shoot out of the Nightshark if you don't fully upgrade the window armor. Nightshark, tight spaces, and stickies = Oppressor killer

Duke of death is pretty good for a first vehicle. I got it in the criminal enterprise pack. I’m level 34 with a bunker, counterfeit cash, and facility and I sill have the duke. The kuruma honestly is a waste

Insurgent Pickup Custom has a really big adventage, that it CAN be used during heists. It is really usefull and makes the heists way easier. Something like kuruma but weaponised
