My big problem with this game is the lack of properties that you can buy for instance only key characters can buy certain properties where old-school San Andreas you can buy an unspeakable amount of houses I think Grand theft Auto v could have learned a few things from the original San Andreas just saying...

This video is from 2013, you should be able to get the properties FOR FREE on this version using a glitch that I think has been patched in newer ones. Here's how it works, first make sure you have enough money to buy the property you want or it won't even give you the option. Now, after you click to accept to buy any property it'll take a second or two for a short purchase cutscene to start, when it does it usually makes a cash register sound. As soon as this cutscene starts pause the game (interrupt the cash register sound) and replay ANY mission, it doesn't matter which one but since Masks is the shortest one and your goal is not to replay a mission but to buy a property just replay Masks (but again, it works with ANY mission in case you want to buy a property earlier in the game before having played Masks or Boiler suits). After you replay Masks you will be back at the property you were buying, now it's yours but you spent ZERO DOLLARS. Apparently pausing the game at that precise moment stops the money transference and replaying any mission replaces the rest of the cutscene so when you're back you're already at the end of the purchasing process and no money was moved. I do this for EVERY property, not just businesses but garages, hangars, marina spots and helicoper pads (except for McKenzie Airfield which doesn't let me because it has a cutscene with Oscar). If you do it this way EVERY PROPERTY is worth buying and Michael can buy all three movie theaters as soon as the main game is finished because he should have over $40M and now he has an important weekly income to increase his money before investing in Lester's missions, now the problem is having too much money. Once I had the max 2"147'+ so my weekly earnings weren't adding up anymore and then I lost it all.

Yeah really cool... the grenade or bombs you blow them up with can easily cost you more than 150 $... not to mention unnecessary wanted level. So much easier and faster to collect money briefcases and use the stock market.

The issue isn't ammo cost...if you jam up a couple dozen cars in a tunnel, you can take out damn near all of them with a single $250 grenade. It is the $5000 cap on the weekly income from the actual scrapyard that screws you over.

one of my problems with GTA V is that you basically never have to worry about money. After jewelery score you can pretty much afford any gun in any quantities, any los santos customs car tuning - the only thing you cannot afford easily are properties. But if their main goal is to make you money, so you could just buy more properties - what's the point?

right you really don`t need money to play the story line.... Smart thing to do is save money until you done assassinations and invest it all each time.... Sticky bombs and armor are a must. Well let's see with the money you earn in GTA 5 you can buy all different types of businesses and properties (due some are exclusive to certain characters) Cars, Motorcycles, Bicycles, Planes, Helicopters, Boats, Seasharks etc all from the Internet. Guns, Haircuts, Tattoos, Clothing from all the different stores. As well as Customizing and Upgrading your Weapons and Vehicles.

In actuality mckenzy air stip is a massive money maker for trevor. 11,000 per mission set then depending on how many you do directly the week you can gain upwards of 45,000 on mondays payday. The vehicle scrap yard however is a max 5,000 per week no matter how many cars you smoosh. But if you do go over that 5k cap it will carry over to the next week. Soooo

LS Customs is profitable if you buy all the best upgrades for all 3 characters. If you want the expensive rims... those will set you back 215k across all characters alone. I have 2 cars for Franklin, not that it's necessary, but I like having the Zentorno as a race car. The Zentorno costs around 200-300k or more on it's own to upgrade. I don't really agree with the cab company being useful. Of the properties giving benefits or income it is the worst. It is truly pocket change you're saving and only on 1 character.

Id like to add, The Sonar Collection port has another perk besides the submarine. Right after the property is bought, a lady by the name of Abigail Mathers will hang around. All you need to do is speak to her once, then the Dingy will spawn together with the sub and as you probably know, it comes equiped with scuba gear, so there will be no need to schlep to the docks to fetch the dingy everytime

For the golf club: A more realistic time spent in game is: 1500k initial cost and 265k / week income = 5.66 ingame weeks to break even 12seconds/10hours = Trevor sleeping continuously. Which means if Trevor sleeps continuously he'd have to do it for 19 mins and 1 seconds to make the money back. The worst thing about the property as a money making opportunity is that it's only really relevant after you've taken the big score. The game will be practically over at that point.

Michael's properties are by far the most lucrative ones. Just buy Ten Cent Theater and Doppler Cinema after finishing the final mission. It will take 76 GTA weeks or 425.6 real-time hours to begin making a profit (assuming you help them in Property Management missions). Smoke on the Water is the property that begins to operate at a profit the fastest. Taking only 22 GTA weeks or 123.2 real-time hours.

The best way to make money is to not spend it at first. Don't do any of the assassin missions either. First, beat the story completely. Then after all 3 characters have their money after the UD robbery then use Franklin with his assassin missions but use the stock market with all 3. There's videos here to show you how to make over a billion dollars with all 3 characters.

how you obtain $150,000,000 without a game save mod or mod menu doing it legitimate i actually need $180,000,000 for last two properties for Michael only got $18,000,000+ those stock glitches just doesn't pay off all the time as shown on most videos takes a lot of loads to accomplish it and would take weeks maybe months to obtain it to get it done. I ONLY GOT 94.8% completion yoga and the planes give me a time doing them i lack on getting the missions done on time for medals.

dont buy any property or complete lesters assassination missions until the entire story mode campaign is complete. once "the big score" and the final story mode mission "the third way" are complete, and all protagonists have 30+ million in the bank, research "gtav assassination mission stock investments" before starting the assassination missions and you could earn up 2.4 billion dollars, but realistically about 1.3 billion, per character, youre welcome

The Scrapyard is not profitable. If Franklin owns it, and Michael and Trevor go around causing a lot of damage, that costs them in ammo, hospital, bail, etc., and while it doesn't cause Franklin to lose money, it does cost the other characters to lose money 'cause $150 is crap. Ammo costs money, rockets cost money. It's only profitable if one destroys enough vehicles where it doesn't cost anything and then it's just time consuming. Scrapyard is only worth it during the story, afterward it just costs too much.

Pro tip: if you manipulate the stock markets AFTER the Big Score, you can make around 2.1 billion dollars per character which is enough to buy every single property and still be fucking loaded. All this talk about “free car upgrades, free taxi rides” is all well and good but who gives a shit about free things when you never have to worry about going broke? The properties are there for boredom and absolutely not necessary to make a ton if money in this game

I'm sitting on about 2 billion per guy, so I bought all properties. And awesome planes. And helos, boats, and whatever else i want. Figured out that a certain stock fluctuates a lot so every time I buy big stuff I can easily make it back.

Starting a rampage will most likely end in your death which is -$5000 off top. You would have to destroy 34 cars just to break even if you die. It’s not worth it bottom line

YOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY ANY PROPERTIES!!!!!!! Save ALL of your money (only spend money on taxi rides, body armor, and weapon upgrades, dont buy much ammo you get plenty from pickups) Franklin gets these assassination missions from Lester and you can make bonkers money off of them. I am half way through the 3rd mission and have 90 million on all 3 characters. Once Im finished I will have over $3 billion.
